Hey guys. I'm working on a survival style mission for myself and my friends to play on, however I haven't added any custom scripts or addons to the mission yet, and that's where I need some help.
Simply put, I want to add a survival system, and I know exactly how I want to do it.
I want to add hunger and thirst values, and make them start at 0 and count up to 100. When the player reaches 50 in either or both values, they take a penalty to stamina, and when they reach 100 in either, they die.
To combat this, players would have to pickup inventory items that then gives an addaction to eat or drink, depending on whats in their inventory. Each addaction would have to be unique to each item, which doesn't seem so hard.
For the addactions, I would like to create custom inventory items with a variety of uses ranging from basic drink/food to energy drinks and snacks that restore stamina.
Is this possible? I'm only new to mission editing, so I don't have a lot of experience, but I aim to learn as much as I can!
