Does anyone know how to get rid of that annoying version missmatch message on servers that are not updated?

Now, is it just me, or does anyone else get an error message like this after installing the ACE 1.02 patch:

Cannot create system memory surface 4444, 112x112 (size 33440B) Error code 8876086c

This happens after i select any SCAR weapon (scar L eglm, scar h, etc.) and tries to load the weapon, whether im in the Armory, or in a multiplayer game like ACE warfare, evolution, or Domination, etc. A few seconds after the weapon is spawned, the game crashes completely and the error message i typed above shows up. Im thinking this has to do with the scar texture update in the ACE 1.02 patch. Because, this doesnt happen with any other weapon and this never happened in the previous versions of ace. Any ideas eh?

i think that error means those textures of the model.

Hi animal_nitrate and :welcome to Armaholic. I get that error too when I pick up the SCAR it most likely has to do with new SCAR textures but try uninstall ACE first then install the full ACE pack not the patch. If the problem persists report it on the ACE mod forums.

Do we still have that awful sound for the A-10? :p And if so, am I able to install the old sounds and still play multiplayer?

!!Important Note!!
There is indeed a bug with one of the sight textures of the SCARs, at least that is what Scuba told me (he accidently added a bad format texture). There is a hotfix in the making, but since there isn't a hotfix installation thingy it can't be released yet...or something like that :O_o.

SO, yes there is a bug witch affects the SCARs only. NO, redownloading the full or patch won't fix it. So no need to punish the file providers by retrying to download it!

All i can say is it is getting looked into and a fix will be released asap.

Well I'm glad to hear that is a bug, I was wondering what was wrong with my download.

I don't know if this is a bug exactly, but the suppressed (SD) M4s show muzzle flash. I have never fired a suppressed weapon in real life, but I thought a supressor supresses the sound and muzzle flash. I didn't notice a muzzle flash on the other ACE supressed weapons. Will this also be corrected in the hotfix?

ok so ive looked around and couldnt find anything so ima post it here. im requesting this partly on behalf of the fact that im horrible at scripting apart from simple commands, but was wondering if someone could make a document"text file" for a pre mission loadout that would incorporate all weapons/ rucksacks/etc into the briefing screen. I would try to do this but am horrible at this type of thing, idk it would be an awsome template for like all missions etc

Still too much sway. M21 sounds too weak (it was great).

Still the best mod around ofcourse. Just wish the sway was back from first BETA version and then hands off it! :) It did come with the feature "steady-aim" - but it was butchered with the drunken-feeling-sway.

yes thank you for that, i had already looked at that, but not being fluid in code and not really understanding what i was reading..it wasn't working..however through sheer stubeness as not to let this beat me, i have figured it out.

I have a weird problem with the mod after a time playing im lagging and i have my settings on low but if i test the game at canyourunit.com it says i can play it on recommed and if i play it without the mod i can play it very good on normal does anyone know how to fix this?
i really want to play this mod very good because i like it very much! :)
