I think most of you have ever heard of the Track-IR device. If not feel free to visit the eDimensional website.

The TrackIR4 Pro

Knowing how much of good use it is to be able to look around you while walking in a straight line......and knowing how your fingers can get mixed up :) I have this on my "to buy list"

I ordered it a while ago together wiht the 3D Glasses from eDimensional and the new "Z-Board Merc". So I'm all ready to rumble... if it makes me play any better is a different story I shouldn't comment on :dozingoff

However, we've been able to get a special promotion for armamods.net. You get a total of "30$ off" if you order your track-IR trough us using the promotion code "vbs" during your order checkout. This makes it "only" 149$ rather than 179$. If you life in europe ordering from eDimensional is cheaper than naturalpoint. Since eDimensional ships from the UK and naturalpoint from the US.

So if you're unlucky you might get taxed on US orders let alone the shipping costs...

...my 5cents...

PCFormat has posted some new videos about Track-Ir technology applied to Armed Assault, here you can check their thoughts and impressions:

PCFShins:
First up, me. Enjoying the sights and sounds on a three-screen setup courtesy of Matrox's Tripplehead2Go, a Quadvision monitor setup and TrackIR 3. This is all running on a Shuttle with a 7600GT and only 512 system RAM. Quite surprised me that the system could handle the the 3,000-odd by 1,200-odd resolution. Medium Detail settings.

PCFShins:
Next comes a flyby video I made to show off ArmA's 400sq km island from the air. This is a low res montage. You can get MUCH better quality versions of the clips in this montage here (right click save as).
