You are better reworking your news. 1.16 from 1.15 adds only the said 4 changes:

Changes from public beta 1.15

* 5272 - Fixed: Game did not run on ATI cards in fullscreenmode on Vista x64 with more then 4 GB RAM (fixed again).
* 5273 - Fixed: Reduced excessive virtual memory fragmentation with ATI/AMD graphics cards.
* 5276 - Fixed: Changed BattlEye integration (fixing "random" player kicks)
* 5277 - Attempt to fix: Crash opportunity

The rest is from patching 1.08 to 1.14 ...

They have a readme using 1.08 info, wrong uninstalling info,....

PS: that info was removed now.

Thanks for the headsup, I guess BIS was in a hurry to make this readme :)
Big did first add only the short list. I decided to add the full list for a nice news item.

Does the beta patch overwrite 1.14 or can i use 1.14 and try out 1.16b without overwriting it cause when asked before installation it said the only way to remove the patch is to uninstall arma completely and reinstall.
thanks to anyone that can clear this up for me.

I updated to the 1.16 Patch on my machine running NVIDA 8800 Ultra and now after about an hour I get Graphic lockup and have to reboot to get ARMA to run again. Nice they fixed ATI but NVIDA has issues.

You can still play 1.14 if you install 1.16. The 1.16 beta patch runs like a mod because this isnt the final release of these patches.(They are jus test for the final patch that will come for the game before ARMA 2 gets released).

I had a run of 2 - 3 ours during a training using the new beta patch (with a Nvidia card 8800GTX) and performance was perfect, it seems to go all a bit smoother. However I have to add the following:
    - No AI present
    - Not many players present (max 8 0r 9 I think)
    - Not many active vehicles present (a lot were stationary in two bases though)
    - not much going on, only we running around as infantry and some chopper/planes flying around
Tonight we will see how the beta patch performs as we should use the beta patch for tonights battle. That should be around 60 - 80 or maybe more people on a server. Lets see how it goes :)
