Here is a small cargoscript I made last evening. It adds actions to an C130 that allow you to load vehicles in the cargospace, fly around and drop or unload them again.

cargoscript.zip
Put this in your c130 init or use it somewhere else.:
[this] execVM "c130cargo.sqf";

Features:
- loading/unloading of all landvehicles and boats in c130 cargo, limited only by their dimension
- animated ramps (they open before loading/unloading and close afterwards
- unload in midair and your cargo gets drop with a parachute
- passengers of a vehicle in cargo are moved on a c130 seat when they leave their vehicle while in cargospace (noone will accidently fall out of the plane ;P)
- the vehicle you want to load has to be placed near the ramp

I've not tested this in multiplayer yet and it may need some adjustments for this use. Singleplayer should be fine though.

There are a lot of very capable people on this forum, willing to spend some of their time to help you out. So if you have a problem, it surely isn't too much to ask that you atleast take the time to describe it properly. Thanks.

Is this the fixed version of your script? I read on the BI forums there was a problem with the first download link?

No worries, the above one is a working version. I'll update it again once I get home, because I want the script to use 1 file only instead of two. That doesn't change its functionality though.

Plus I'll have to do some multiplayer testing with this, which is going to be a bit tough since Arma2 wont let me join any servers. ;/

I was wondering if you could walk me through on how you created this script. I'm extremely new to scripting and would like to create a script much like this one just to help me learn. For instance, being able to attach a car to make it seem like a tow truck, even though it won't be anyway near how a tow truck works.

And keep in mind that if you do decide to help, that you're talking to someone who has never touched C++ programing in their life.

The files go into the folder of the mission you're currently making. Same location as the mission.sqm file.

Hello, I 'don't suppose you could make the adjustments to this script to allow it to work in multiplayer?

I have tried it, and it works once only. Seems to stop working when another player enters the game, and after the c130 gets destroyed/respawned.

Whenever I put [this] execVM "c130cargo.sqf"; into the init of the c130, it comes up with 'Type script, expected nothing.'
I'm certain that i've set it up correctly, and both script files are in the mission folder. Any advice?

Put [THIS] exec "c130cargo.sqf"

BTW, nice set of scripts, I have adapted them for using the Generic LCU in Arma 2 and they work quite well there Too

Nice job

Just tryed this in MP on a dedi server , Seems to work fine all apart from when you "Unload" a vehicle from the C-130 they collide and this cause's damage on both vehicles and stalls the C-130 . Other than that very nice stuff , top draw .

Edit : Maybe if you could make the Cargo Eject further away from the c-130 ? would be cracking to have this working nicely and i will be keeping a close eye on it .:D

Chris1986, how have you got it to work in multiplayer?, on my server it runs once only, then the option to load is no longer there. Any ideas would be appreciated.
