Those 2 new movies (AI townfight and spec ops) from Shadak really impressed me even more with the AI.
Just check the Townfight and watch them actually cover eachoter. Really great!
Still at the end of the movie you can see some east units in the middle of the street with west units coming in. None of them engages.

In the spec ops vid its really nice to see the AI sees the player first but instead of being one of the world greatest shooters he misses and gets killed by the player.
The bullet dispertion is really great to see.

So many new movies and no opinions? :wink .. i almost cant find the time to watch them all :D .
Noticed the recoil and dispersion on the MG's isnt wright in the forest movie, that must be fixed.
Other than that, great stuff :yes .

Yeah Heatseeker, thats the problem with me aswell. I am uploading movies, taking screenshots, making news pages, adding streaming movies and editing the video page all at the same time :lol

But for opinions, I like what I see. Every movie shows something good about the game, sometimes you see a little bad thing.
The recoil you mention, I havent ever fired a MG so I relly wouldnt know how it has to be. I can only compare it to VBS1 recoil, and from what I have seen the recoil is less than wth VBS.
I think they tuned it down a bit so more people enjoy the game.
But I guess (no experience though) as soon as the tools are released and people can start making their own addons they will also be able to add the (in their opinion or proofed) correct recoil right?

I already wathed that one, priceless :wink . The low recoil and dispersion make them MG's much more efective than all the other rifles from what i've seen, in VBS1 they are all nicelly balanced, i hope they change this in a future patch. Cant wait to go armour hunting with the laser designator, imagine:

Zodiac insertion at dawn, small patrols in the a.o., armored vehicles parked in small enemy camp. Take out enemy AAA to call air support, take out the bridge to slow down enemy reinforcements...
Beautyfull thing :) .

You already started planning arma missions?
I know I am, I am writing down ideas, and how to's as I go through page after page of info :D

I bet that with all those new script commands we can make some really intense missions, probably even better than what we could do with VBS1, and those were really great :)

As soon as I recieve my german copy you should let me know what you want to see or know Heatseeker, just so your mission ideas can expanded a little more :D

I think one great advantage will be having alot more units across the map without a big performance decrease, the new graphics, effects, features, etc will also help us alot. I might try that convoy idea i scrapped before, using strykers or hmmwv's to escort a fuel truck thru hostile territory. (Your minefield script will be needed :wink ).

Coop is my #1 favorite gametype but realistic adversarial might be fun too (mixing realistic coop objectives with adversarial aspects).

The great thing is that stock missions are just templates and we can do whatever we want, i cant wait :D .

It will be converted by me to make it ArmA compatible, I dont feel like changing it now with the wiki help since I cant test it. So to save myself probs I just wait :)

And like you co-op is nr1 for me too, but I like to play other gamtypes aswell now and than. I mostly suck at those though, but I can have lots of fun, specially if played with friends and people who are good at it so I can learn.

I did never really play OFP, how were those missions that came with the game? Same as in VBS1 and like you mention now...........templates?

Most just ordinary CTF's, DM's and FF's nothing i really liked except C&H. Some coops showned where the true value of the game really was :wink . There were some missions converted to VBS1 that i liked better in OPF.. adversarial was too fast paced, arcadish and disorganised (kill, die, spawn, run), thats why many people got the most from coop.

If you can shoot acurately, aim fast and think you are good in both coop and adversarial, dont underestimate yourself m8 :wink .
