Not nit-picking here but anyone else notice the disproportionate focus levels between the structures and the new foliage -at distance?
Example: Long Bow OTS SS-from Christian.1987s link^.

You mean this one?

I guess its just the blur right? Those previewers maybe don't know how to disable it or maybe in the preview version it could not be disabled?

Again remember guys that the images shown that comes from the reviewers (BIS sent out WIP code wich is playable unfinished game to reviewers around the world) and we can see on many that the graphics settings arent setup properly. Some have 3D resolution under 100% wich makes the image blurry and horrid. Also we dont know what object detail or terrain detail they took these screens with and that have a big impact on how it looks.

At least we seen some say OA feels like a new game instead of an expansion due to all the new stuff it comes with. :) Did anyone see the new faces? Just wow...!

Foxhound :You mean this one?
Yep, that's the one.:thumb
Regardless of current build status or in-game settings the contrast between the trees and structures level of detail is stark, buildings have lost detail where the trees detail -at the same extended distance- does not seem to have been reduced. Hopefully the new Linda veg wasn't properly scaled. WIP.

OK, so maybe I was nit-picking.:)
Big hopes for :OA

They're showing only few screens and some short videos now, they're promise many things. I have distance to this. OA needs mainly better performance and fixes for all ArmA bugs. Also better animations of soldiers and more war realism. Without it - it will be only good game - expansion pack.

Performance should be better since there seems to be significantly less vegetation and objects in Takistan than Chernarus. However, things will start to change when AI are being used.

We do not allow any discussion about warez, your friend should buy the game. We don't help people who cant be bothered to buy it.

Has any news been released concerning it being able to be bought by Steam?

Nope, not as far as I know. I don't think any info has yet been released where people can buy/pre-order the game.
But, I have no doubt it will be on steam, specially since ArmA 2 sold so well there.
