Foxhound : It means you can use the material included in ArmA 2 in Operation Arrowhead as well.

Thanks for the answer, I though it was the opposite, that the OA units could be used inside Arma2 (something like an addon for those who already have A2, in addition to the "standalone" OA)

What is this??????? It is on all their "digital" downloads.

Extended download for 24 month(s)

An additional USD 6.99 will be added to the product price for this option.

If you purchase the "Extended Download" service, you can download the electronic product version up to 24 month(s) after receipt of your payment by going to "My account" in the Customer Care Center. Please notice that this service is not an extension of your original product and does not give you access to any additional licenses for the original product. However, this does not entitle you to download updates.

[edit]
Here is a example for getting CD/DVD of games.

Backup CD/DVD for software products

Price per CD/DVD: USD x.xx

You can also order a CD/DVD version of some downloadable software products. You can begin to use the downloaded product right away, and the CD/DVD will be delivered to you by postal mail. This CD/DVD will be produced specifically for you.

Your CD/DVD will be produced and mailed within 24 hours after payment has been received. Postal delivery can take 10-15 business days within the EU and the US, and 15-25 business days to other countries/regions.

You can use this CD/DVD as a backup copy of your product, for example: If you were to lose the downloaded product for any reason, you could use the CD/DVD to reinstall your product at any time.

The Backup CD/DVD option is always linked to the purchase of a downloadable product; if you remove the downloadable product from your shopping cart, its CD/DVD will also be removed.

Please note:
Goods exported to countries outside the EU and the US can be subject to customs fees. The recipients of these goods are responsible for any applicable customs fees and taxes. For more information, please contact the customs authorities in your country.

Well I can't find any horror/bad stories about Meridian4. So maybe this is a good thing? Hate losing Steam though.

There has been no mention of them NOT using Steam as a means of distribution. Just that there's been no mention that they will, but I think it'll be likely they will. It's good to see BIS securing distributors early on this time around, with a fixed date for all of them in contrast to ArmA2's fragmented release.

Exactly, this is how such a news item should be read :)

The Eurogamer review was very nice. It was promising to hear about all the different variants and better performance. But I also liked how they pointed out what wasn't included yet.

Armstrong-"Hey Carillo, do you see that?"
Carillo-"See what?"
Armstrong-"Something's burning over there, see the smoke?"
Carillo-"That's not smoke it's dust!"
Armstrong-"Dust? i don't get it."
