# NoQuarter : @Enad:
Could you do us a favor and run some bench-tests with your original, then medium & low settings before using & benching the solution posted by kju?
Original what?

# pvt kilbur : If i buy off the links at the side of Armaholic will any money go towards armaholic?

If you buy the game through any link displayed on our shop page indeed you will support Armaholic. A small percentage of the price will go towards us. This helps us to pay the bills *THUMBS UP*

how much better are the faces now!!!! i think the game has just hit the next level that arma 2 should have had at launch, loving it so far ( although there are still a few bugs during the campaign like waypointing issues etc )

Just a note to anyone having serious FPS issues like I am, rename your arma2.exe to BioShock2.exe and it will significantly increase FPS. Nothing near the FPS I got in ArmA 2, but its very playable. I manged to put the settings up from Low/Medium, AA off, PP Effects off, 100% 3D Res...to High Settings, 125% 3D Res, AA on low and PP Effects to normal with stable and smooth FPS. :)

I've got low fps in Zagrabad (on high settings), even there's only few or many AI on map. In Desert and Takistan is ok. Looks like that game need better pc than ArmA 2 heh...
Patch 1.07 change fps speed in ArmA 2 for much better, so we need this for OA. Operation Patchahead!

i am having no problems running the game at all, it actually runs 10fps better than arma 2 even on the arma 2 maps, my only concern (in the lightest of terms) is i have noticed some of the us troops have an issue with the shemaghs, they appear to be stuck to the chin, i dont know if the guys forgot to shave before the op and there fore are having some catching issues (believe me it happens) but i have never seen it this extreme lol!!! here is what i am talking about.

I have also noticed that even BI has issues with graphic tearing ( the goggle straps are torn up 90% of the time on the helmets) that should be addressed, apart from that i think the expansion is kick ass!!!

Benchmark on MSI HD 5850 Twin Frozr, Intel Core I5 750 @ 4 Ghz & 4 Gb Ram 1600 Mhz.
Average FPS - 37 on these settings:

Last mission from campaign in Zagrabad shows me that OA have poor performance (fps drops too much down).

so i installed a dvd bought version of the game and it worked fine, i then purchased and installed a direct 2 drive copy of the game for my second pc and when i installed it everything went great, now when i started the game all the menus where in a crazy language ( after some research i found it to be russian ) i have no idea how to change the language to english ( the installation was all in english ) the box in the options menu where in arma 2 i was able to change the language is greyed out, any ideas as to what to do?

oh and to add to this a little more, i have tried the @ english mod for arma2, it works for all arma2 content but not for the oa content ( i kinda need to know what i am doing in mission lol )
