Im still on 6600GT too, its a nice card. Arma is the only reason im upgrading soon. It might be a little rough on release but it will grow and keep me busy for years :love .

@Warhawk............have faith :wink. I saw many different resuslts with many different specs, also keep in mind people dont always try to tweak their comp for a game, they just "plug and play" so to say :wink

@heatseeker, funny, your newconfig is almost the same as mine I am looking at......:)

[EDIT]
I was comparing to heatseekers new config!!

The North Sahrani models are uninspired :| , i like the details and camos on the VBS1 opfor better.
The US SF models could have looked diferent, with caps, boonies (like the sniper) and other diferent gear, they look like regular infantry with MP5's and backpacks.

The south Sahrani (resistance) look like edited US models, not original or unique looking grunts (neutral). The much improved graphics engine is most impressive but there are some things that should have been done diferently imo, i have no doubts that Arma is great and will become even better but i think it should have stayed some more time in the oven.

Heatseeker : but i think it should have stayed some more time in the oven.

Heating it up a bit more wouldnt have hurt the game definatly. And it might have prevented some publisher stuff.
At least the 505 version can contain any bug fixes, addons etc etc the german/czech/polish and russian version cant have.

In the end, many may have the game already but Februari will be the month for final review...........if its actually released than :)

Arma makes Far Cry look like bad cartoons, beautyfull, large and very photorealistic, the models are extremely detailed :love . That guy on the first new pic must be an engineer carrying mines?

Btw... Where did that Avatar came from and what does it mean? :dontgetit .

I think thats the engineer yes, do you know if the mine(s) are removed from his backpack if he places one?

@Avatar, I noticed people using the default avatar had an error in the avatar, it was linked to a not present .gif file causing a red cross to be there. I have changed it to this one by default. What it means? I dont know, it was in the devault avatar folder :D
I will make an armaholic default avatar if I have some time this weekend.
