Deadfast released an updated version (courtesy of oktane) of his Combined Operations Disabler, on
our forums.
Quote Deadfast:
This simple tool allows you to remove the ARMA 2 part from your Operation Arrowhead installation. This is an easy way to ensure the missions you produce are made 100% out of Arrowhead content only.
Please note that you will not be able to run ARMA 2 at all while it is patched out. You have to use the tool to enable Combined Operations first.
Changes:- [ADDED] Running process check
- [CHANGED] OA's Common no longer renamed to Addons
- [FIXED] Possible crash
handy good job
For experienced users:
- move .\arma\addons and .\arma\dta to .\arma\a2\*
- rename .\arma\common to .\arma\addons
Launch OA only with -mod=expansion.
Launch A2OA with -mod=a2;expansion.
you know you can just go to expansions on the first menu and disable arma 2...................what a waste of time lol
Yeah, good luck with that. Have you actually tried it?
@XXLpeanuts. You sound like a smart ass. You carent disable arma 2 in the expansions menu, you can only disable and enable mods, not the base arma 2 and arma 2: Operation Arrowhead so pull your head in mate. Try constructive comments instead.
THANK YOU... i really dont like having to sift through all the crap from a2 that i dont feel like messing with atm.
@kju, do you move those folders before or after installing OA as expansion?
Lol yea i do apologise however what a stupid thing for BIS to have done give you that list and then make it impossible to disable arma 2, so well done with addon
At first wondering about a proper use, this tool, after a bit of imagination brings a brilliant idea of making a mission my friend can play while he can't find his vanilla CD to reinstall... Brilliant job DF.
