McNools released an updated version of his Tier One Operators on the
BI forums.
Quote McNools :
This will probably be the last update for this addon, unless there are any critical bugs needed to be fixed. If anyone wants to do a multicam-retexture or something, PM me and we'll discuss it.
Changelog:- Added
- ACU Heavy Operators
- new headgear: some of the heavy operators now have MICH2001-helmets with plenty of additions on them.
- All operators can now hide bodies
- Demolition expert can now disable mines
Very Nice!
Nice! I wonder if it's possible to make them into civilian units or something so that they're less detectable by the enemy? Say, if they're walking along a ridgeline about 500m from the enemy, and not shooting at them, they won't be seen as a threat?
this is very cool! will test it
Nice work soldier! Downloading now and looking forward to trying it. Keep up the effort, hoah!
@Durka-Durka I am inclined to think that it would be better for someone to develop an "undercover" script or some kind of "hidden" script which would be broken as soon as the undercover operative shot or killed someone on the Opfor side. I agree with you though that something needs to be done to help protect undercover soldiers.
Problem - Helmets disappear from the units when you put your NV goggles on. Not a good look. You might want to make the helmets apart of the unit not of the identity.
Other than that the units are great and yeah there is a definite need for an "undercover" script. Also you might want to try to incorporate McNools M4A3's or some of Robert Hammer's weapons into the add on.
Finally, i personally would of stuck with the BIS special forces helmets because it simply looks better.
@Tobes94 There are a couple ways to do it! :D Heres a couple ways. Credit goes to kylania and the others he names on the credits for the scripts.
http://www.kylania.com/ex/?p=98 - Undercover unit/team for a certain area/compound. (With example mission)
http://www.kylania.com/ex/?p=38 - Undercover unit/team in any area. Can't come within 'X' meters or your cover is blown
Hope that helps everyone when using these GREAT Tier One Operators! I know I've used these often ^_^
