Description:
Team Shadow is a realistic campaign that focuses on a sniper team call sign shadow. It takes you through the war in Chernarus where Russians have invaded and progresses through the war with ops in all different areas. The missions are quite diverse, considering its just a two man team, ranging from target elimination to reconnaisance, counter sniper operations, ordering support and surgical strikes on high value areas. Also features training missions to help prepare you for whats expected in the field.

precise control of your ai team mate - use the radio commands to make the ai never fire, even if you
team switch, as well as disabling their movement when you want them to be still in a tight situation.

Range Me script, use the scroll action to get your ai to give you a quick range reading, if your
spotter dies you will no longer be able to use this function

Spotting mode, watch your own follow through through your spotters eyes the moment you take the shot (useful for long range shots)
Installation:
Extract and move to your Arma 2/Campaigns folder
Notes:
- The missions are fairly long, so saving is advised
- This campaign focuses on the real aspects of being a sniper - that means that for a majority of the time -
youll be on your belly crawling around from bush to bush to get around. Stealth is key in all these missions.
- Be Patient, rushing and getting ahead of yourself will just cause bad things to happen, like getting spotted
and gunned down
- Accuracy is extremely important in this campaign - In most of these missions you will only be allowed to carry
one magazine for your weapon, that means you really need to think about who you shoot, wasting ammo on grunts

- Sidearm is your friend - Learn how to use a pistol in those times when things get heated up
- Position is everything - While it might seem like fun challenge trying to kill someone 1000 metres away, if the
weather doesnt permit it, and theres better options in getting closer, its better to take the safe route and make
sure that what you kill is on the first (or second) time around
- Notice theres alot of smoke grenades available when you select your gear - its your best friend when you gotta
make a fast escape from certain death

Also suggestions on mission types would be very helpful to me, those that have more knowledge about real snipers should definitly voice their opinions on some missions and material to work with.

try to keep the shitty ace stuff to a minimum. people don't tend to want to download 1+gb of files just to play a mission.
The mission is for people with ACE, if you dont have ace and think its "shitty" then p**** off, its not for you you dont deserve to play it.
Hundreds of people have ace, its not just a random addon needed for a random mission, look it up or go away

I realize alot of people dont like downloading mods they dont use for a campaign. However this campaign relies so much on ACE features that its not possible to present it the same way in vanilla. Some of these situations, while they might look like great shooting positions, become much more challenging under ace with the wind deflection. Hence the fun and skill factor is increased with ACE in this case.
And currently there is no coop support for this mission (it was never designed with it in mind) however. I may in the future release a coop and vanilla version of this campaign, that is once the campaign itself is completed.
Thanks for the interest in it tho, im glad to see people wanting to play like real snipers in a campaign.

Awesome campaign Ingenous, I was wondering when a sniper campaign like this would come out. The training missions are lots of fun and good practice, or a learning aid for people who like to run and gun. Thanks and keep up the good work.
And ACE is a must for your campaign, sniping just isn't the same without decent ballistics, wire cutters, and loads more guns and equipment and everything else that ACE adds. Especially when I am looking for a sniper mission ACE is a must.
i cant install this :( i have installed normally ace mod and ace mod extras for my arma CO but i cant start the campaign i see a cutscene with some snipers and then a black screen and then nothing....
i also get an error message with ace oa ru at startup maybe i have wrong ace version?

My apologies, i forgot to mention that you also need PMC lite enabled (the 3 training missions are run on proving grounds map) so if you have enabled PMC pack lite (this came free with the update for arma 2 arrowhead) you should be able to get past the cutscene onto the first mission. Sorry i will include an update on the readme and links to specify this.
I have tested this with extra mods as well (15thmeu pack) and i have been able to run the campaign as well with these.
i have the full version of PMC and BAF and my game is up to date but i still cant run it
i got it working by installing ace us navy :D, im at the training levels now and these are so greatly created cant wait more from you
Oops! Thanks armitom for mentioning that, I did a check and it turns out i had USNavy enabled the entire time i was making this campaign! I will work on removing it from the missions as it is not required in it. sorry my bad!

could u please tell me how i should start the testing in the 1st training mission? it says i should use the "finish practice" option but i don't know how to find that option?
your supposed to walk over to the range line where the white flag is, there is a little sand box (the firing line thing) there and the action will show up.
