Bush's Geotypical Microterrains - 2km x 2km x 4 meter test terrain

This is a 2.05km x 2.05km Terrain with a 4m Ground Resolution.

This synthetic terrain represents a small eroded terraced valley in Afghanistan.

This terrain features medium- hi-res (4m) ground resolution...
In practical terms this means that your Framerates may suffer with high Viewdistances... try a VD of about 3km or so and it should run pretty smoothly.
There's little point in having 5km VD or more if the entire play area is only 2km across!!
In other words - this probably isn't a map for the flyboys ;).
It makes up for this by providing extremely detailed mountains and rocky areas with plenty of small dips and rises, making this an excellent "Proving Grounds+" style PVP or small groups infantry terrain...

As we always recommend use modfolders to seperate the custom content from the official game content to prevent problems. For different ways to set up your modfolders and use them please visit our FAQ.

When you are using the Steam version you can find a Steam mod installation and activation FAQ here.

Using the BIS town generator module:
In the Editor - place a player unit on the map, then place a "Town Construction Kit" module... press preview...
Autogenerated towns are automatically named and act like "city centers", so an additional Ambient Civilians (expansion) module will produce not only a randomly generated but also inhabited town!

For more information and additional module user parameters - read the wiki page at the following address...
