![]() Special Ops: Pre-emptive StrikebyB00tsy Description: HQ Has received new intel about the Takistan army. It appears that they have gotten their hands on new experimental super charged artillery rounds that can reach longer distances then any other shell and does 3 times the amount of damage as a normal shells. According to the calculated range the rounds can even hit our airbase in the south of Takistan. The shells supposed to be located at a secret testing site. Unfortunately up to now we have no idea where they are located. However, we have heard rumours about a small communications outpost that is in direct contact with the 'test site'. We are dropping you near the outpost to gather intelligence about the location of the test site. The outpost should be located somewhere within 'Sniper Valley', so be prepared team. There are lots of 'nasties' out there. * This is the first Objective - Explore Sniper Valley, locate the outpost, gather intel about the 'test site' The mission contains several more objectives. To know more about the story and objectives then play the mission Features: Installation: Extract the .pbo file(s) to your ArmA 2 Operation Arrowhead\Missions folder for singleplayer. Extract the .pbo file(s) to your ArmA 2 Operation Arrowhead\Missions folder for multiplayer/coop. Notes: This is sort of a beta version of my newest mission There is still some stuff I need to add such as correcting some grammar mistakes in the cutscenes and I want to add some side missions in between objectives. Also the ending is now with a cutscene after completing the last objective, but it will be a chopper extraction at a later time. As always, Feedback is appreciated. Call to Glory - Reloaded is one of my favorite scenarios. I can't wait to try Special Ops: Pre-emptive Strike with some friends. Will give you some feedback when we do!

When we're not playing DayZ we've been playing Call to Glory - Reloaded.
Had a chance to play the mission and it's awesome! Played with three other guys and we had a ton of fun sniping. The only issues is they complained they couldn't join while the mission was in progress, they just saw a black screen. So I restarted the mission to pick them up. Also, the intro is way to long. It would be better if all that text was located in under "Tasks." Without the text the intro would be perfect, because it is a really good intro just without the briefing. All in all, another great mission! Thanks!

Yeah this is not a 'jump in' mission like my Call to Glory mission, all players have to be there at the start for this one. I kept the intro relatively short (it was longer), it's now around 50 seconds. It is an important storyline that introduces the current events/situation of the mission your team has to accomplish. After the 50 seconds it is all gameplay, there is only one more mission end cutscene. I will look forward to a gameplay vid of the mission (you made a nice vid with high settings with call to glory!) :)
I will definitely get a good gameplay video of this mission (maybe this weekend?). Now that I understand you can't just jump in at anytime like Call to Glory the intro is fine. When I play this mission I'll just make sure everyone's in and ready before we start. Thanks again, your missions rock!
Pls be aware that version 1.2 has a bug in MP mode due to the first aid module. After respawn the AI will no longer detect you. As long as you don't die it's all fine.
