Tarin Kot, capital of Oruzgan province, Afghanistan.
This is the second public version of this terrain, I hope it will provide greatly enhanced gameplay and a closer representation of the unique Afghan variety of the area. Please keep in mind this map is still in the early stages of development and I want to hear what you think of it.
As we always recommend use modfolders to seperate the custom content from the official game content to prevent problems. For different ways to set up your modfolders and use them please visit our FAQ.
When you are using the Steam version you can find a Steam mod installation and activation FAQ here.
Water in Irrigation Channels and River will flicker when viewed from certain angles/directions. This problem may vary depending on your GPU. I Know this problem is quite bad in places but will not stop arma from running, I've spent far too much time trying to fix this problem over the last month so if anyone has any ideas how to fix it than please tell me!
If I can find a solution in the next few weeks I will release a patch for this issue.
Some vehicles cannot drive along the embankments (Strykers and Quad bikes) others may encounter loud collision noises
AI don't walk over the irrigation channels but should use them as cover.
