Armaholic video tutorials & guides - Using the Editor and ACE2 CCIP and CCRP
Video tutorials and guides

Here is a new edition of the Armaholic video tutorials and guides news series in which we, on a weekly basis, feature a video tutorial or guide made by community members.

The first 2 videos are from Lucky44, he made 5 basic mission editing tutorials and these are the last 2 in the series. You can find the previous episodes in earlier Armaholic video tutorials and guides news items!

    Quote Lucky44 :
The 3rd episode adds use of basic triggers. In this case, the triggers are used for two things:
      1) sending a "hint" text to the players' screen
      2) making an AI unit move down its waypoints once certain conditions are met.

The fourth episode gets into using player-controlled radio calls to make things happen. This is done through the use of Triggers and setting the Activation method to a radio "channel".
For now, Episode 4 concludes this series about the basics of the mission making editor.
If you have an interest in a topic you can't find a tutorial on, let me know and I'll see what I can do!

And there is another video by Oksman showing you how to use the CCIP and CCRP from the Advanced Combat Environment mod.

    Quote Oksman :
Here's a new guide on the latest addition to the pilots job, the awesome CCIP AND CCRP! Now you can accurately put bombs on the deck, fire that 30mm awesomeness at long range without adjusting!

We invite anyone who has made or has planned to make a video tutorial or guide to submit their videos which we will review and post about here in the news!
The tutorial or guide can cover any aspect of Arma 2! That means it could be a video explaining all features of a certain addon or mod, a script or a gamemode or a video explaining the basics or specific elements of mission editing.
Video guides made to help mastering the game, for example flying or any other gameplay related aspect of the Arma series are very welcome to help add new as well as veteran players!
Any well made and well documented video can be submitted and if this becomes a widely used and appreciated item we will also increase the frequency of these news items.
