BI forums a hotfix was released!
Quote DnA :
We've deployed a small hotfix to default branch to target a particularly nasty crash (does not contain any other changes from the Arma 3 Alpha Development branch!):

Arma 3 Alpha Development branch) which comes from the already successful feedback and cooperation of the early adopters of the Alpha.
Below are only listed the Engine changes but the full changelog is massive, make sure to have a look at what has been fixed on the

Ah well.. it's an Alpha. Thanks for the update!!
Awesome update BIS. Cant wait for the BETA if it keeps rolling like this!
did the optics mode work in the gunner position of the...I forget...the vehicle with the grenade launcher, before? Cause it works now and it's awesome I can finally play the vehicle showcase the way it was meant to be played. BIS is the best!!!
where is download link?
Start the game through Steam and it will auto-update. If you disabled auto-updates enable it to get it?
I'm glad they up-dated it but it broke a lot of the user made missions and they need to be up-dated too.
