Patrol Ops 2 XL
I wanted to experience patrol ops on a much larger scale, one that emphasizes on teamwork and the use of assets available. Presenting you my first mission, Patrol Ops 2 XL.
- 51km x 51km map. Air and land assets are crucial for victory.
- non-respawnable vehicles. Instead, replaced by a vehicles inventory.
- Each player leads their own squad.
- AI recruitment always enabled (even if its on Disabled).
- Fully customised air base (based on Who's US Military HQ template
- Outpost on the outskirt of air base (based on Ei8ght's Outpost 8
Extract the .pbo file(s) to your ArmA2 Operation Arrowhead\MPMissions folder.
Mission is still in the alpha's stage as I have not done much testing. I would certainly appreciate any feedback, comments or suggestions given. I have many plans to expand this in the future, to mention a few: bug fixing, having multiple objectives active at once, combining Insurgency module in, OPFOR players (TvT), adding more factions and more enemies. Im also looking at porting this over to Arma 3 in the future providing the conditions are right.
