Hellenic Armed Forces Mod on the
BI forums.

After a long time of tweaking and adding new stuff, it is finally the time for a global update of my Hellenic Armed Forces MOD.
In this release you will find Units, Weapons, Crates, Accessories, Aircrafts, Land Vehicles (Armored and Cars) all in one with all previous reported issues fixed (at least I hope).
This update will replace any previous files and it is modfolder ready. All units and vehicles (Air and Ground) are playable on both Independent and BLUFOR sides. Also all parts of my mod are properly signed and a server key is included.
Into this update are included the Aircrafts, Units, Weapons, Accessories, Crates, Armored and non-Armored Vehicles but not any of my recently released Hellicopters (NH90 and EC635 - you can find these as seperate addons) or any of the imported from ArmA 2 vehicles.
Changelog:
- Two more categories have been added, one for Armored Vehicles and one for non-Armored Vehicles (cars), which are including the Leopard 2A6HEL MBT, the Leonidas2 APC, the Mercedes GD240 car and the Steyr 680M truck.
- Also another weapon has been added, the G3A3 in four versions for my Hellenic Army Units.
Accessories/Optic cannot be placed on the weapons. And there are some just horrible config issues here. Even when the MG's are out of ammo it still shows a full belt on the weapon. These will be nice weapons once they are fixed.
I've placed the optics on my weapons with no problems. Love the addon! just make a backup sight for the ACOG?

My addon conflicts with this one http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?148045-Russians for some unknown reason ... if you want to use it just remove this addon or check any other addon you are running together ... let me know if there are any other addons may conflict ... I'll make my classnames unique at next release to avoid such problems.
Backup sight for the ACOG ... I was thinking about but my ACOG model has no ironsight for this ... I'll see what I can do in future release.

The mp5 recoils down and to the left, so that might be something to fix and it sounds like you're shooting it with a suppressor, even when... you're not... shooting it with a suppressor. asides for some other minor issues, not a bad addon.
Not working with the SA80 Mod. Makes it go all crazy.
Vanilla Laser and Flashlight are not working either. (Using dslyecxi's paper doll)
m60 hasnt any sounds for people close to me while im firing, the m72 law makes my arms stretch out crazily, im going to wait a while before trying this again but i do love that 1911 with the suppressor :D
This is ALPHA version guys so don't expect anything to be perfect ... I'm already trying to correct issues and I must thank you for pointing me to that way ... so please keep informe me about bugs and I'll fix them at next update.
Definatley an improvement. My only complaints are the mp5 still sounds like a paintball gun, the m4 has no recoil and the textures look kinda funky. Also the eotech doesn't work, when you ADS the sight is just white. But yeah, its getting there :)
The MP5 sounds are from real gun but still some values needs tweeking. M4 recoil is derives from original game recoil but I'll look to improve it next time. Eotech issue is my mistake as the reticle texture has wrong path (I saw this after the release - unfortunatelly).

Guys if you want to compare the recoil for M4's ..compare it with the SDAR ingame weapon that uses 5.56 also.-rest A3 weapons uses 6.5 and 7.62 cal.
weapons are working fine along with the helmets and armour,
the uniforms however are not functioning, when I equip them i only get skivvies.
could it be one of the other mods conflicting with it?
