Short description: Arma 3 mod to enable custom face colours to work better.

Arma 3 mod to enable custom face colours to work better. NOT perfect, it's more of a workaround than a fix, via a custom rvmat.
I've edited the characters_f config slightly and tried to cut out as much unneeded stuff as I could,
but managed to break it more often than not, but it's current state is working.
Default white arms/legs cover up the blue, still unsure of how to name the Hands+Legs in the profile dir.
One solution would be to link textureHL to the profile dir in CfgFaces, like custom faces are, but I 'think'that the path to profile is perhaps hardcoded in the .exe?
Addon disables injury overlay for custom face, also now works indoors/in shadow.
Extract into the ArmA 3 Directory, by default this is located in:
32-Bit - C:/Program Files/Steam/Steamapps/Common/ArmA 3/
64-Bit - C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/Steamapps/Common/ArmA 3/
After extraction it should look like this:
You can also use the "Arma 3 Alpha" folder in your "My Documents" folder. Your folder setup could than look like for example this:
You'll also need to add a Launch Parameter to Steam, in order to do so right-click on ArmA 3 Alpha and click Properties and then Set Launch Options. In the window that opens enter in -mod=@your_mod_folder_name
For using multiple mods you would then do so like this:
You can also use -nosplash to get rid of the splash art and intro videos.
And of course you can also enable and disable community made addons and mods through the in-game Options Expansions menu if you do not want to mess with startup parameters!
When the above information still does not provide you with enough to learn how to install custom addons and mods you can always ask in our Guide On Installing Mods.
After you properly installed this addon (see above), make sure you have a face.paa or face.jpg in your Arma 3 profile dir. Must be under 100kb for Multiplayer, can be larger for local play.
Custom faces should now display properly coloured.
Config.cpp can be changed for African/Greek/Asian skin types, e.g:
Empty - Uses Default textureHL = ""; materialHL = ""; textureHL2 = ""; materialHL2 = "";Swap the above for:
textureHL = "\A3\Characters_F\Heads\Data\hl_White_hairy_1_co.paa"; materialHL = "\A3\Characters_F\Heads\Data\hl_White_hairy_muscular.rvmat"; textureHL2 = "\A3\Characters_F\Heads\Data\hl_White_hairy_1_co.paa"; materialHL2 = "\A3\Characters_F\Heads\Data\hl_White_hairy_muscular.rvmat";OR
textureHL = "\A3\Characters_F\Heads\Data\hl_black_bald_co.paa"; materialHL = "\A3\Characters_F\Heads\Data\hl_black_bald_muscular.rvmat"; textureHL2 = "\A3\Characters_F\Heads\Data\hl_black_bald_co.paa"; materialHL2 = "\A3\Characters_F\Heads\Data\hl_black_bald_muscular.rvmat";OR
textureHL = "\A3\Characters_F\Heads\Data\hl_White_bald_co.paa"; materialHL = "\A3\Characters_F\Heads\Data\hl_asian_bald_muscular.rvmat"; textureHL2 = "\A3\Characters_F\Heads\Data\hl_White_bald_co.paa"; materialHL2 = "\A3\Characters_F\Heads\Data\hl_asian_bald_muscular.rvmat";
