Description: A few BlueFor units created to look like US Army soldiers. There are lots of weapons added that is currently in service. Like the M4 or the AT4 launcher. All weapons have good custom sounds to make it a bit more immersive. AV_IndUs = (AlexVestin, Independent uniforms, US soldiers) Installation: Extract into the ArmA 3 Directory, by default this is located in: 32-Bit - C:/Program Files/Steam/Steamapps/Common/ArmA 3/ 64-Bit - C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/Steamapps/Common/ArmA 3/ After extraction it should look like this: Steam/Steamapps/Common/ArmA 3/@your_mod_folder_name You can also use the "Arma 3 Alpha" folder in your "My Documents" folder. Your folder setup could than look like for example this: mydocuments\Arma3 Alpha\@your_mod_folder_name\ mydocuments\Arma3 Alpha\@your_mod_folder_name\ mydocuments\Arma3 Alpha\@your_mod_folder_name\ When present place the "userconfig" folder into your game install folder, usually: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 3". You may already have "userconfig" folder from other addons/mods in which case it is safe to merge the contents from this archive. You'll also need to add a Launch Parameter to Steam, in order to do so right-click on ArmA 3 Alpha and click Properties and then Set Launch Options. In the window that opens enter in -mod=@your_mod_folder_name For using multiple mods you would then do so like this: -mod=@mod_name;@mod_name2;@mod_name3;@mod_name4;@mod_name5 Note: You can also use -nosplash to get rid of the splash art and intro videos. And of course you can also enable and disable community made addons and mods through the in-game Options Expansions menu if you do not want to mess with startup parameters! When the above information still does not provide you with enough to learn how to install custom addons and mods you can always ask in our Guide On Installing Mods. Included files: AV_ESS.pbo av_indus.pbo av_weapons.pbo Usage: They are currently listed under NATO/"MEN (IndUs)". Classnames are available here. Known issues: Weapon animations are not done for all weapons. Uniforms with short sleeves have a weird shoulderpatch bug. Icons are only temporary. Probably all weapons need tweaking. M4 LODs are missing parts. AT4 has it's sight out when on back. AT4 is not disposable and working properly yet. It's weak too. Please let me know if you find something new. You couldn't have made them modern day? MC is the best camo the world has ever seen, and ACU is probably the worst camo the U.S. Army has ever worn.

ACU isnt a camo, the camo's name is UCP. and this is modern day uniforms they have, thats the MICH helmet, it even says so in game, now if he were to add Army Special forces then you might see some multicam.

i like your work, except theres not NVs on the units or Fist Aid Kits. Any chance you will be making US Marines too? Because i have grown tired of Sabres Marines cause the helmet isnt correct. Also love the Dark MK14 (you put m14) EBR.
I just want to say how much I love these units after the past few updates, fixing the uniforms, etc. whenever I'm in a VAS server I go straight to your uniforms!
great work. these guys lend some authenticism when I'm playing. future nato guys are alright sometimes, but other times I want to grab an M4 and pretend I'm in a very Mediterranean looking Afghanistan. Cheers.

Actually, there's nothing futuristic about the default NATO guys, Everything except the OPFOR uniform exists, Ex. the MX series is the ACR, the Hunter is the Oshkosh/Plasman M-ATV. The ifrit is some new russian MRAP that escapes my mind at the moment. also i dont believe the Zafir OPFOR Automatic Rifle Exists though. Anyways AlexVestin. Keep up the great work with this mod, The only disappointment i have had so far is that theres no Grenadiers, Do you plan to switch from Dynamic Mastery M4s to FHQ ones? or are you just going to do without Grenade launchers?

@SpirtWolf The MX looks a lot like the Masada I do agree but it is using caseless rounds which the Masada has Cased rounds and if it was supposed to be the Masada it would be a Reworked Model under a Different name maybe its a "Masada X series" like Reworked Components

Nice. Only 2 things. 1) Would be nice if they wore some custom ACHs/MICHs instead of the MICH-sized PASGT that they call a MICH in-game. 2) Multicam would be nice. But nice addon.
U.S. Army infantry never used m16's, not even in 2001-2003 beginning of the wars. Only pogs are issued m16s, for this reason I can't download this.
Bug with the AT4 where AI's arms disappear. AT4 isn't disposable. Cyclic rate of the M4s seems a bit too fast, maybe just me. Hand positions need tweaking. Fix those things and 9/10 from me
