Description: If anyone is interested in testing another AC130 mod, this is the 80% complete version that ive released to my clan for testing. updates will be coming about every week, or when people find enough errors to make an update make sense. Installation: Extract into the ArmA 3 Directory, by default this is located in: 32-Bit - C:/Program Files/Steam/Steamapps/Common/ArmA 3/ 64-Bit - C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/Steamapps/Common/ArmA 3/ After extraction it should look like this: Steam/Steamapps/Common/ArmA 3/@your_mod_folder_name You can also use the "Arma 3 Alpha" folder in your "My Documents" folder. Your folder setup could than look like for example this: mydocuments\Arma3 Alpha\@your_mod_folder_name\ mydocuments\Arma3 Alpha\@your_mod_folder_name\ mydocuments\Arma3 Alpha\@your_mod_folder_name\ When present place the "userconfig" folder into your game install folder, usually: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 3". You may already have "userconfig" folder from other addons/mods in which case it is safe to merge the contents from this archive. You'll also need to add a Launch Parameter to Steam, in order to do so right-click on ArmA 3 Alpha and click Properties and then Set Launch Options. In the window that opens enter in -mod=@your_mod_folder_name For using multiple mods you would then do so like this: -mod=@mod_name;@mod_name2;@mod_name3;@mod_name4;@mod_name5 Note: You can also use -nosplash to get rid of the splash art and intro videos. And of course you can also enable and disable community made addons and mods through the in-game Options Expansions menu if you do not want to mess with startup parameters! When the above information still does not provide you with enough to learn how to install custom addons and mods you can always ask in our Guide On Installing Mods. having really bad audio bugs at the second. Every noise is echoing over and over again even flying without shooting is a pain. Great work though : )
yo can take off only when you placed it empty and enterd it as a pilot it will take 10 15 sec for it begins to roll.
I got this to take off on altis. I had to have my buddy in the pilot seat hitting the throttle and i had to tap it on the vertical stabilizer with a helicopter decently hard but we got takeoff.
I can start the engines but the plane doesn´t fly. That´s shame
This is a great mod! But I do have a suggestion for the pilot to be able to set an auto pilot course. Or even if it just flew itself in circles would be useful. But it is still very fun as is.
1. I have found that the AC-130 doesnt accelerate at all when on the ground. Almost like the wheels are glued to the tarmac. Its hit and miss so I dont know whats causing it, only solution is to move it about 5m with a bobcat to get it un-stuck
2. Player gets killed out of the AC-130 from ghost damage
3. If killed in either gunner seat, the optic sight is painted on your screen when you re-spawn and wont go away.
4. When there is both a pilot and a gunner, if autopilot is engaged, the gunner will be teleported out into the ocean.
haven't found a work around.
5. (Suggestion) Find a way to be able to manipulate the flight circle while in auto pilot, enabling the pilot to maybe click on the map where the center of the auto pilot should be.
When I do get it into the air and into a accurate flight circle it is amazing. It makes for great CAS on a domination server I play on and im looking forward to future updates :)
i cant get it to move an inch on either map holding down throttle just wont move
Aircraft won't move when holding down throttle. I've only been able to use it in editor by spawning as the pilot or gunner in the air.
With that being said, do you know how I would be able to trigger the pilot to initiate autopilot if I spawn as a gunner? I spawn the AC-130 as a BLUFOR unit so by default, it has a full crew so I can't switch seats as a gunner. Is there a way to trigger the npc pilot to initiate autopilot mode?
How can i spawn it via console?
_veh = "????" createVehicle(position player);
Thanks
any progress or is this mod dead?
Hello! everyone is a nice mode, but if I could take off and fly it! I tried all possibilities, but the plane remains on the runway.
can someone help me please!
This mode is good. Obviously it needs the Altis map fix. Can't get off the ground so the only way to use the aircraft is to start out in the air and never land or your stuck. Once that is fixed then the big fix will be the gunnery physics as the real aircraft compensates for the movement of the aircraft allowing the gunner to put the cross hairs on the target and hit that precise point. Hopefully this isn't a dead mod!
good
Guys, tell - the author isn't engaged in this addon?
