Description: A few months ago I was able to get the files for this C-17 project. Once I was able to get hands on the mod, I decided to port it over to Arma 3. This features the following versions of the Boeing C-17:

Installation: Extract into the ArmA 3 Directory, by default this is located in: 32-Bit - C:\Program Files\Steam/Steamapps\Common\ArmA 3\ 64-Bit - C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam/Steamapps\Common\ArmA 3\ After extraction it should look like this: Steam\Steamapps\Common\ArmA 3\@your_mod_folder_name\addons\ You can also use the "Arma 3 Alpha" folder in your "My Documents" folder. Your folder setup could than look like for example this: mydocuments\Arma3 Alpha\@your_mod_folder_name1\addons\ mydocuments\Arma3 Alpha\@your_mod_folder_name2\addons\ mydocuments\Arma3 Alpha\@your_mod_folder_name2\addons\ When present place the "userconfig" folder into your game install folder, usually: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 3". You may already have "userconfig" folder from other addons and/or mods in which case it is safe to merge the contents from this archive. You'll also need to add a Launch Parameter to Steam, in order to do so right-click on ArmA 3 Alpha and click Properties and then Set Launch Options. In the window that opens enter in -mod=@your_mod_folder_name For using multiple mods you would then do so like this: -mod=@mod_name;@mod_name2;@mod_name3;@mod_name4;@mod_name5 Note: You can also use -nosplash to get rid of the splash art and intro videos. And of course you can also enable and disable community made addons and mods through the in-game Options Expansions menu if you do not want to mess with startup parameters! There is a slight problem.
When flying, I try to decrease speed, but it doesn't want to slow down any further than 400
And when the engines start up on the runway, the plane wants to keep moving, wether I've applied the brakes and holding the decrease thrust button or not. Make it very difficult for the soldiers to hop in.
will it be possible to move as soldier inside cargo when flying?
This is gorgeous, thank you very much. We've needed a functional paradrop plane for ages. Plus, integrated aerial refuelling?! Brilliant.
As for reported Landing Gear Issue, as long as one takes off gently, using flaps, no issues.

Is there any way to drive vehicles into the cargo area, because at the moment they are blocked by an invisible wall
When you start the Landing Gear breaks ,but not always.....whats the Problem
The newest version ( 2.3 ) Is verry bad. It is so buggy and i can`t load Boxes, and Vehicles i can`t detach. The older version was much better...
This plane has some very unrealistic errors. Once that cargo door opens into the airstream past coplaner, it would cause the plane to nose down and crash. And then the ramp toes don't fold all the way over onto the ramp. They just fold in the vertical position.

I work at an Airforce Base as a Boom Operator and have worked/trained side by side with Loadmasters at Altus AFB so I've seen and been on C-17's.
I have experienced vast and lethal lag when adding this mod to our mp server. It is EXACTLY the same type of lag the last buggy version of Lifter exhibited, probably for exactly the same reasons. I've never seen such horrible lag. Lag vanished when mod was removed. There's probably a script error somewhere, and instead of simply terminating the process, Arma 3 seems to get caught up in trying to find it and run it anyway.
sir i installed the game but.when i choose the plane it say's bad pd3 file whats that sir?thanks

Im download the file and seems it's broken during extracting errors occur with winrar Fix that if it's global problem
I have a problem with the C-17 that i havent encounterd earlier.
When i place the C-17 in the editor and than hit preview, it will put me ingame, and than once i open the cargo ramp the entire interior is gone, it is a complete see through.
Can you please fix it so i can use this awesome mod again

Could I use this mod in my mod pack for my gaming community, it is made up of 6-8 regular players and wont modify any of your work and you will be given all the credit.
Yup, same here - nowadays there is errors with textures, you can actually see through the whole plane.
Other errors that have occured are:
- You cannot load some vehicles, because they will go through (Sink) the ramp (ex. UAZ and EWK Hummvees)
- When in airfield, you cannot unload the vehicles. If you paradrop em, they will be ejected with high speed, go through and "sink" in tarmac.
- If you get in the vehicle when its loaded, you will get black screen, cannot detach the vehicle and cannot get out from it.
- When passengers are in-board, they cannot see vehicles inside. Not a big deal.. but sometimes interesting.
Could also revert back the possibility to drop one vehicle or ammo crate at the time instead of dump all - option. Otherwise really good mod, just needs a little tuning.
The mod seems to be pretty broken in the current version. You cannot detach cargo after flying, because once you get in, you get a black screen, no detach option, and an inability to get out of the vehicle!
