Hopecore is an addon patch* ** for Optical Snare's Blastcore Visual Effects Mod. This patch* ** was created by Arma 3 Community Modder user Hope Johnson. This mod has been updated and modified to feature different effects for explosions.It also features : the removal of the lemonade yellow, persistent debris, improved smoke, error fixes, etc.
**This mod requires OpticalSnare's Blastcore to be running!**
***This mod does NOT contain Blastcore
To install HopeCore you should use modfolders to keep it seperate from the official game content to prevent issues.
With Arma 3 you can use different ways to set up your modfolders to use custom content you have downloaded.

I have been enlightened to how to patch and or override things in Arma. Where as uploading a modified Blasctore is "morally" "wrong". uploading a patch that will modify and bugfix blastcore is well within the self imposed rules and regulations of the Arma 3 Modding Community.
Taking some hints from Project Reality and how it handles sprites and effects.
Updated for Blastcore Phoenix 2.
Removed old fire effects (due to constructive critisim from the BI forums) and added new vehicle fire wreck particles.
Will be adding variants for different vehicles later. Currently the same size for everything.
Armored Vehicle cook off and non-wreck vehicle smoke particles created.
Armored Vehicle cook off eventhandlers and scripts (disabled, they work but its not done)
Fireballlight position bug patched
New spark effects (modified BIS ones) that are more FPS friendly. Giant circle particles chug fps just for bullet impacts.
Reduced amount of smoke particles for FPS

* Dual Compatibility with both Blastcore for Arma 3 and Blastcore Pheonix

Update: More work on the sparks, more work on fire, more work on tank muzzle flashes.
-Improved spark effects. Still looking for any traces of fireflies
-Improved explosion effects. Explosions now flash 3 colors rather than choosing one.
White at .25 seconds, gold at .5 seconds and red at .75 seconds. Still looking into a better way of displaying explosion effects. Looking into the mysterious yellowish smoke.
-Fixed bugs with explosive ammo and synchronized their effects.
Improved rocket effects. BC Vanilla was too yellow and HC initial release was too red. I think this Deus Ex gold will work.
No more fire flys when hitting metal with bullets. Will add more compatibility later.
The addon was requiring "WARFXPE" and "Blastcore_VEP" When only one is required
Fixed the colored smokes not having color and adjusted the newer smoke grenade particles. Fixed the LGB and Mk82 (vanilla and mod) not having the right effects. The effects however I subject to change.
Patched up the branches. Lemonade yellow replaced with less intense colors. Smokes are now useful. Fixed some errors with 20mm/30mm cannons. Fixed errors with the heavy sniper. Fixed the 40mm GL explosion being a smoke grenade. Changed the effect of a bullet hitting metal. TO DO: MK82/LGB/Maverick Explosions that have better smoke colors. New sparks models for bullets hitting metal. Continue improving smoke effects
Removed Shell casings for SUD AK's and RH_M4's. Not all users will have those mods.
