Islamic State & Guerrilla Unit Pack

12 infantry units, fully functional in Zeus, MCC and the Editor.

The unit pack consist of a troop of Guerrillas (Independent) as well as a troop of mujahideen of the Islamic State (OPFOR). The Guerrilla units are loosely based on what a more spec-ops version of the fighters in Ukraine could look like, with a special eye towards both the separatists and the Donbas Battalion (volunteer group fighting for Ukraine). The IS units on the other hand are based directly off of footage from VICE News.

Extract into the ArmA 3 Directory, by default this is located in:
32-Bit - C:\Program Files\Steam/Steamapps\Common\ArmA 3\
64-Bit - C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam/Steamapps\Common\ArmA 3\
After extraction it should look like this:
Steam\Steamapps\Common\ArmA 3\@your_mod_folder_name\addons\

You can also use the "Arma 3 Alpha" folder in your "My Documents" folder. Your folder setup could than look like for example this:
mydocuments\Arma3 Alpha\@your_mod_folder_name1\addons\
mydocuments\Arma3 Alpha\@your_mod_folder_name2\addons\
mydocuments\Arma3 Alpha\@your_mod_folder_name2\addons\

When present place the "userconfig" folder into your game install folder, usually:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 3".
You may already have "userconfig" folder from other addons and/or mods in which case it is safe to merge the contents from this archive.

You'll also need to add a Launch Parameter to Steam, in order to do so right-click on ArmA 3 Alpha and click Properties and then Set Launch Options. In the window that opens enter in -mod=@your_mod_folder_name
For using multiple mods you would then do so like this:

You can also use -nosplash to get rid of the splash art and intro videos.

And of course you can also enable and disable community made addons and mods through the in-game Options Expansions menu if you do not want to mess with startup parameters!

Duplicate active copies of ASDG JR work flawlessly.

Known issues:
Cfg reference error on startup for a checker function for ASDG Joint Rails. This doesn't seem to affect anything though. Will look for/make a fix after the weekend.

Future plans:
Completely removing CAF AG as a dependency

Credits & Thanks:
All credits for the dependencies go to their individual authors and their creditors in turn. The dependencies are not included in our mod and have to be downloaded separately.

* Removed RHM4s as a dependency
* Removed AV_IndUS as a dependency
* Major work on removing CAF AG as a dependency, only the RPG remains (until a solution is found)
- The equipped ArmA2 OA turbans and head-wraps are now included in the mod.
* Added HLC AR15 and M14 packs
- This should not add any difficulty for most users, seeing as HLC users seemingly tend to subscribe to most of their mods
* Updated ASDG Joint Rails to the latest version

- Changed weapon and mags to HLC M14 from CAF SVD
- Added a scope to the rifle
- Changed grenade type to vanilla RGO grenade
- Changed the name and class name (it is now HulaZone_Guerrilla_Marksman)
- Changed grenade type to vanilla RGO grenade
* IS Guard
- Changed weapon from RHM4 to one from HLC AR15
- Changed the vest from a AV IndUS vest to a comparable vanilla arma vest (also looks better)

- HLC Core and AK pack added to replace most of the weapons in the pack (only previous ones left are the RPGs and the SVD). Thus removed STI as a requirement in the process. Sounds, visuals, gameplay and general immersion should now feel a lot better.
- Recieved permission by Robalo to bundle ASDG Joint Rails (a req for HLC, although actually not for the weapons we are using from the pack...), so as to make it easier for the end users. /* Thank you! */ Completed a first take on the bundling, which is still looks a bit wonky though due to the one pbo nature of steam workshop.
- Remade almost all of the loadouts to incorporate HLC. Most noteworthy from a gameplay POV is that the Guerrilla now use AKs and RPKs instead of the standard weapons and the STI Machineguns. The same goes for the AR of the IS.
- Created a group for all the units in each faction. Should work with MCC and Alive. // Coding groups in ArmA is exceptionally weird
