Description:
MOCAP Melee allows you:
- Strike your target with the weapon that is currently in your hands
- Perform stealth melee grabs and take-downs in different situations, stances and poses
- Melee fights by using hands and legs
Works in SP, MP, Dedi
Currently its possible to use in Player vs Player, Player vs Ai!
Installation:
To install the MOCAP Melee you should use modfolders to keep it seperate from the official game content to prevent issues.
With Arma 3 you can use different ways to set up your modfolders to use custom content you have downloaded.

Arma 3 Mod install instructions page for more information about using custom mods and addons in Arma 3.

Usage:
For usage and information instructionss of how to use MOCAP Melee please refer to the included documentation.
- Load your mission/editor/join to server
- Goto Settings -> Key Bindings -> Addon KeyBindings (added by CBA)-> Select MOCAP in dropdown list -> Configure your keys
Main attack button - Knocking by fists or by weapon in hands - by default binded to "T" key
Leg kick - Legs kicking with change to disarm your enemy - by default binded to "Shift+T" key
Takedowns/Grabs - Do takedowns - by default binded to "Ctrl+T" key
- Find enemy or some human, press assigned keys = Profit
Mission makers:
- You can find two MOCAP modules in Modules section, they allow you to disable Hands/Weapon/Legs strikes and disable separately Takedowns
Media:
Known issues:
- in MP coop anims have desync somtetimes (looking for skilled CBA coder)
- Prey sometimes sliding when playing takedown anims (will be fixed later)
- Possible visual bugs with anims transitions (need more tests)

Notes:
Animations still WIP! We cant release knife because BIS forgot add IK to handanims for pistols, se impossible to appy RTM file to handanims, thank you BIS...

Awesome mod! I'm extremely impressed at the quality of the takedown and punch animations, really well done. I have a respectful note of criticism in regards to realism, though: if adding a knife is not possible, would it be too much trouble to change the three "neck snap" animations to blood chokes instead? I'm asking because it's actually impossible (or extremely improbable) to ever kill a person with the "Hollywood neck twist". At close range, with no sharp weapon, the most silent way to take someone down is literally just to choke them. This is still just as effective in prone (similar to this: http://www.grapplearts.com/Blog/wp-content/uploads/2004/08/Rear-Naked-Choke1.jpg ). I can make a demonstration video of the techniques you can base your animations on, if you want. I even have tactical gear to simulate the same movement restrictions. Feel free to contact me if you're interested. I'm a relatively new player to Arma 3 and I suck at programming, but perhaps my real life skills can be of use to someone. :)

I don't know what's happening to me if you lot are putting this feedback down, I download the mod and put it into my game, I use my units modpack that has CBA installed inside it's addons files and with the allinarma mod. For some reason I can't use the melee combat system and it won't even come up with the keys to configure, our modpack has AGM, CBA, and a lot of other mods but I don't see why it doesn't work, am I missing something important? I have only an addons folder and a keys folder so I don't know what's wrong, I really want to test this mod to see if my unit can use it. Please help.

Hey, the one thing this thing really needs are sounds of some sort -any sort really as well as a stun reaction or ragdoll when struck. Thanks and best o' luck!
Edit: Also is there a way to define these strikes in mission, so I can reward players who use them?
Can't seem to understand why the addon controls profile won't load, I have an up-to-date version of CBA as well as the latest version of the mod.

Currently not all possible to release this, cuz Arma have some limitations and stupid situations... I know about all of this features what u sayd, but we waiting for some fixes, and working on new anims, looking how to fugreout with ragdoll and sounds

Strange, check all things again, for us currently all working. Can u record video with errors and post here? We will look on it, maybe some dev or rc or new patches of Arma or CBA make it broken

Sweet! Use this with the INCOGNITO mod used in Piligrimage so enemies don't turn around when you're trying to choke them,and ghilliesuits won't only be useful for sniping!
Hello . I liked your mod . I wanted to know one thing about the melee attack function available for making it safe in Safe Zone ? I have a mission where there is safe zone but melee attack do work still in the safe zone.
Hey I've noticed two things that causes problems with the mod recently, both occur when you are in combat pace (you could jog with your rifle pointed up) and have your weapon pointed down (double tap ctrl by default). First when start sprinting you all of a sudden stand casually and slowly hover over the ground, and second when you are moving and switch to your pistol you start "applying pressure to the earths wound" while moving. I haven't found any other actions that causes similar things but its making this amazing mod unusable since I tend to sprint and swap weapons marginally more than choke someone out.

for some reason the take down is working only against friendly units. the kick and the basic are working just the full take down is not working against enemies only friendlies
