This pack contains a collection of modern and not-so-modern firearms and weapons that are rarely used by regular armies, or are used by armies not contained in the base Arma 3 game. Originally, this was supposed to be the FHQ Remington pack, a re-release of the original FHQ Remington Pack for Arma 2. However, I decided to re-model some of the stuff in that pack, and ended up throwing it all away (except for the ACR, but I re-made all the textures). There were, however, other weapons I
wanted to make, which didn't exactly fit into the pack, so I decided to make this a bit more varied and not restricted to a single manufacturer.
The current version contains the following weapons:
- Remington Adaptive Combat Rifle (ACR), chambered for the 6.8 mm Remington SPC ammunition. The ACR is available in four different camo patterns (Black, Tan, Woodland and Winter).
- Remington M2010 Enhanced Sniper Rifle, the currently fielded variant of the M24 used by the US Army. The M2010 is chambered for .300 Winchester Magnum, and comes in five camo variants (Black, Tan, Woodland, Winter, Desert worn).
The next version will also contain an M320 version of the ACR, plus maybe a shortened and marksman version. I have also started a couple of other weapons projects that will eventually make it into this pack, like the IMI Galil, the Colt M45 Pistol, the H&K USP, H&K HK 416/417, HK G36, MP5, Beretta ARX 160, and a few others. All of these are already in various stages of work, but none of them so far is ready for release yet.
All weapons come with individual custom reload animations which are still very much WIP, custom magazines, and a weapons crate.
The pack requires the ASDG Joint Rails addon.
To install the FHQ Firearms and Weapons Pack you should use modfolders to keep it seperate from the official game content to prevent issues.
With Arma 3 you can use different ways to set up your modfolders to use custom content you have downloaded.

New Textures for G36C (7 camo variants)
Two new variants of the Galil: 5.56 SAR and 5.56 SA (carbine) version.
Galil now uses proxied magazines. 25 Round 7.62 and 35 or 50 Round 5.56.
Galils now all have a rail adaptor for optics. Usually hidden, it will appear if there is an optic on the rail.
More changes will be upcoming once BIS settles for a standardized magazine well, and introduces magazine proxies for their own weapons.

- New sound shaders for all weapons
- This fixes the issues with the ACR "rubber arms" problem and the M2010's fixed muzzle flash/animations.
