With this script you will be able to make any device or panel of the game a real and usable multimedia device with possibility to read all type of medias in PiP and use applications. Works with TVs, tablets, smartphones, computers or panels. You can use this script as you want and edit it, but leave credit.
- You can read any video in Youtube, Facebook, Verizon FIOS or Netflix by putting the video in the appropriate folder, but it has to be in a OGV format. (See included documentation)
- Add custom actions and associate content to them, you can create a whole website with this interface, and you can add pages to the applications like Facebook, Twitter or Chrome.
-You will be able to simulate having and using a real Smart TV, smartphone, tablet or computer in Arma 3.
For usage instructions and information of how to use the Multimedia Interface System script please refer to the included documentation and/or example mission.
1 - To use this interface on any device or panel, put the "TV" folder in your
mission folder and copy the content of my description.ext to your description.ext, if you don't have a description.ext simply copy the one provided in your mission folder.
2 - After that, name "tv" the device where you want to use the interface, and
add the following in the object init field :
tv addAction ["Turn ON", "TV\tv-init.sqf"];3 - Create an invisible object, like an invisible helipad, and name it "media_player"
4 - The object will then become a truly usable multimedia device with working and customizable interface.

VERY IMPORTANT : - Never launch more than one video at the same time,it will lag
if you do so and it's impossible to stop a video, you have to
wait for it to finish before starting another one.
- When using Media Player, you also have to wait for a song to
finish before starting another but this time you will be able
to stop it.
The file is quite big for a script (170 Mo), that's because it includes videos, including one in HD for testing (Captain America Civil War HD trailer), feel free to remove them for your missions when you don't need them, to reduce mission weight.
