Short description: Just a little alpha test of a female voicetype.
Date: 2016-12-20 01:26
For now, this is what I have on a project I've been putting together over the past few weeks. The goal is to have quite a few working female voice-types to use alongside mods such as Femal3 from Zeealex, or the upcoming Max Women from Maxjoiner. Eventually I hope to get it working as a player voice-type, but right now it seems I can only get it working with A.I....I will be working on that as I build more voices.
Currently there is only one voice-type available in the mod, "Female One". It utilizes the English female voice from CUP Units (I was given permission to redistribute as long as the classnames were changed so they did not conflict with the CUP mods. I have also extensively tested this voice-type alongside all the CUP mods, and it works fantastic! be warned, she curses like a sailor...and MAY or MAY NOT tell you to "piss off" when issued an order...yea, I've got a bit of work to do there lol)
One , semi-working, work in progress voice type. At least 8 or more planned out.
To install Female voicetypes you should use modfolders to keep it seperate from the official game content to prevent issues.
With Arma 3 you can use different ways to set up your modfolders to use custom content you have downloaded.
Please visit the Arma 3 Mod install instructions page for more information about using custom mods and addons in Arma 3.
-at least 2 or 3 more english/american female voice-types
-at least 2 russian female voice-types
-at least 4 various other female voice-types to go along with the various vanilla factions/locales (last on the list because these will most likely be the most difficult to plan and complete)

Special thanks to the CUP Team for allowing me to redistribute the female voice files in from their mod that made it possible to bring a working female military voice into ARMA 3.
