Chernarus 2035 is the Eastern area of the fictional country of Chernarus, the arma 2 map. This mod aims to be a slight re-master and overhaul to some locations of Chernarus in line with the original terrain. The terrain size has been increased from 225km2 to 419km2, a number of new islands large and small have been created off the coast of Chernarus, ranging from a Nuclear Power Plant to a large island with an airfield a some small settlements, to nearly a dozen smaller islands to fill in the gaps.

This mod originally was named "South Zagoria Terrain"

To install Chernarus 2035 you should use modfolders to keep it seperate from the official game content to prevent issues.
With Arma 3 you can use different ways to set up your modfolders to use custom content you have downloaded.

the new landmass expansion is in this build however it is not finished, i only have a single source version because i wont create 2 builds, so i will simply develop the expansion in large chunks at a time. The new expansions layout is also subject to change in the future, things like the NWAF on the new landmass for example are being completely changed to be unique. thanks!

Second part to the large overhaul to this map, it contains mainly new additions to the map, no config entry changes this time around, besides from the worldname.
The WORLDNAME has been changed FROM southzagoria_fall, TO chernarus_2035, please update your missions accordingly, replace southzagoria_fall with chernarus_2035 anywhere it is stated to resolve any issues!!
Main map changes:

Next update will contain map changes to the northeastern part of the map, aswell as some edits on the western border side aswell, AND a sound overhaul is coming in the future.

Small fix to the satellite image, no key change needed or serverside update, next update however will be new key

First part of an even larger update
-Overhauled Lighting Config (Again) The Sunrise and Sunsets should be much more pleasing, aswell as some other light config tweaks in this department
-Added a number of new vehicle wrecks, currently only on the coastline, next update will have them across the entire map
-Fixed school building floating

-Added a new enterable building, the log cabin house I cant remember its classname, it does have a bug where it has a door interact but that does nothing, I'll have it fixed for next update
Next update, I will have finished coating the map in vehicle wrecks and garbage heaps, remember this IS an "apocalyptic" rendition of chernarus, I ALSO will be updating the lighting config slightly, the sky colors will stay more or less the same, except for 50% overcast, which is being updated aswell. Going forward I have plans to construct brand new areas at the same quality level as the original areas of Chernarus, and POSSIBLY merge this map with more maps, depending on the willingness of a few authors I have reached out to, don't worry it wont get crowded on the map, however I have one or two ideas I have wanted to do for YEARS and now I might actually have the chance to, *cough* podagorsk. Anyway bye for now! Expect the next update at the end of this week or early next week!

fixed the ground protruding from MOST houses, report any that still have ground poking through, and ill probably get around to it

Restructured the entire mods PBO structure
11 Old opened houses have been updated fixing a problem with opening doors... I just removed the doors, it looks arguably much better now, yolo. (:
5 New opened sheds I did a few nights ago, I had to replace the old ones due to permission being retracted
New opened buildings will be coming soon once I get better at modeling

Fixed small bug with the surface characters, was messing up when people tried to load Cup Terrains Maps with this mod
Tweaked sky colors, will be tweaked more in the future

-Worldname updated to 'southzagoria_fall' in anticipation for the other seasons
-Lighting updated to the 1.60 lighting update config, this was manditory and I will continue to tweak these settings into the future to make the sky better.

No new edits to locations this patch, just some bug fixing and other small things, look forward to more changes and additions to the terrain soon, we will begin working on the expansions in a few weeks, I may even make some videos of me working on the map if your entertained by that stuff
