US Special Operations Command (All in One/RHS)


A compilation of all my RHS-only United States Special Operations Units. This all in one package includes: US Army 1st Special Forces Operational Detachment-Delta (1st SFOD-D/Delta Force), US Army 75th Ranger Regiment, US Army Special Forces, US MARSOC Marine Raider Regiment, and US Naval Special Warfare Development Group (NSWDG/DEVGRU). SOCOM is the Unified Combatant Command charged with overseeing the various Special Operations Component Commands of the United States Armed Forces.

This mod comes with several factions inspired by the above units in AOR1, AOR2, M81 Woodland, MARPAT Desert, Multicam and Universal Camouflage Pattern. Depending on the unit, the factions are armed with M4A1, M4A1 Block II, Mk18 and HK416 rifles in various configurations with the M9 Beretta or Glock 17 as sidearm. Other specialized troops carry the M14, M24, M40A5, M107, M240, M249, M2010, and the Mk11. Some troops have vanilla laser designator and UAV terminal, and they also have a single IR Grenade in addition to first aid kits, flashbangs, grenades, smoke grenades, and lightsticks. Each faction has several anti-tank troops armed with the FGM-148 Javelin, M3 MAAWS, M136 AT4, and Mk 153 SMAW respectively, and finally each faction has a UAV Operator with the either the vanilla UAV or RHS' Raven UAV. There are also troops with sound suppressors on their primary weapons, ideal for recon and stealth.

There are a few Arma 3 vanilla vehicles present but named after their real world equivalent, and other vehicles are taken from RHS: USAF.

No class names have been changed from previous releases, limited testing shows that this mod is fully compatible with any user created mission where the stand alone factions were used. Just to make it clear: in a multiplayer environment everyone needs the same mods; either every player has this mod, or every player uses stand alone factions, somebody with this mod cannot connect to other players/servers using stand alone factions.

If used with the stand alone RHS factions you will have duplicates.

To use with ALiVE use the following class names with ALiVE modules, and pick the Motorized Infantry and Special Forces categories for ALiVE to draw forces from.

To install US Special Operations Command (All in One/RHS) you should use modfolders to keep it seperate from the official game content to prevent issues.
With Arma 3 you can use different ways to set up your modfolders to use custom content you have downloaded.

A big grateful thank you two @War (wsxcgy on BI Forums) for letting me include his "WS MBAV Extension" in this mod. He retextured the RHS MBAV vests in Ranger Green and Multicam. The vests are included in his "Extra RHS Uniform Re-textures", but I felt there would be too many dependencies if I used that mod with the Ranger configuration files.

As of February 1, 2018, Road Runner's Arma 3 mods will cease to be available as his addon making is over, but he allowed anyone who wished to host his mods to do so. I double checked if I could use his mods with my factions and he allowed me to do that, so a big grateful thank you to Road Runner for allowing meto do that.

I (GrizzlyBear83) will leave NO support for the mods sans my configuration files as I've not made the mods. There will be some clipping here and there with Road Runner's mods, but I did my best to use vests and helmets that offered little to no clipping. There will be clipping between the Glocks and the holsters on Road Runner's LBT 6094A vests.

US Special Operations Command (All in One/RHS)

* New RHS HMMWVs added to the factions.
* New RHS MRAPs added to the MARSOC factions.
* Gave Mk11-loadouts the right magazines for the Mk11 due to the latest RHS update.
* Changed some Elcan Specter scopes.
* Some factions/troops now have PMAGs instead of regular STANAG magazines.
* Most factions now have a Recon Sniper armed with the M24 with attached suppressor.
* Updated the RRC and changed their uniforms to Multicam Arid and vests to Multicam Crye CPC.
* No unit will use Desert Triger Stripe, Khaki, Khaki/Multicam which the RRC did. The associated PBOs with those uniforms will be removed in the future, see this as a warning if you've used said uniforms for your own use.

* New plate carriers and uniforms added from Spec4Gear.v4.6 with permission from Cunico.
* Delta Force operators in both Multicam and Multicam Tropic have been issued Crye CPC vests.
* A new 75th Ranger Regiment faction added with Crye JPC vests. Class name: us_army_rangers_rhs_2018. (In reality they're issued Crye AVS vests, but lacking said vests I gave them JPC vests instead).
* Updated the Special Forces in both Multicam and Multicam Tropic, and issued them Crye CPC vests.
* Updated the Ranger Regimental Reconnaissance Company, and issued them Crye JPC vests.
* The DEVGRU factions have a few new LBT 6094 vests.
* 24th STS have a few new LBT 6094 vests.

* There is rare a bug, apparently within RHS according to some posts I've read at Bohemia's Arma 3 forums, which makes the AI switch to pistols for some reason. With the JSRS sound mod and the RHSUSAF compatibility patch it can be quite prevalent (at least for me), and there’s been users that have used my mod and reported AI switching to pistols. Maybe something triggers it with an ALiVE ORBAT made faction? It’s ARMA after all. I've created new faction PBO's in a separate folder. These PBO’s are virtually identical to the originals sans that I’ve switched all Glock and M9 pistols to the vanilla 4-five .45 (FN FNX-45) instead. Not as immersive, but if you encounter the pistol switching you can use these PBO’s instead. Just move them into the addon-folder, but make copies of the originals first.

Just input crate class names in the ALiVE Player Logistics module and the crates will be delivered to you when you make a call to be resupplied in the field. Added the 75th Ranger Regiment's Regimental Reconnaissance Company in Desert Tiger Stripe, Khaki and Khaki Multicam uniforms. The unit is believed to have become part of JSOC in 2007 due to its extensive training and unique capabilities to conduct special reconnaissance and close target reconnaissance (CTR) operations, and advanced force operations (AFO). Added additional uniform mods by Road Runner. Credits updated. Creative liberties taken with the faction. Class name: us_army_rrc_rhs.
