A CUP compilation of United States Special Operations Units. This all in one package includes: US Army 1st Special Forces Operational Detachment-Delta (1st SFOD-D/Delta Force), US Army 75th Ranger Regiment, US Army Special Forces, US MARSOC Marine Raider Regiment, US Naval Special Warfare Development Group (NSWDG/DEVGRU), and the United States Air Force 24th Special Tactics Squadron. SOCOM is the Unified Combatant Command charged with overseeing the various Special Operations Component Commands of the United States Armed Forces.
This mod comes with several factions inspired by the above units in AOR1, AOR2, M81 Woodland, MARPAT Desert, Multicam Tropic and Multicam. Depending on the unit, the factions are armed with HK416, M4A1, and Mk17 rifles in various configurations with the Glock 17 as sidearm. Other specialized troops carry the M14, M24, M40A5, M107, M110, M249, and the Mk48. Some troops have laser designator and vanilla UAV terminal, and they also have a single IR Grenade in addition to first aid kits, grenades, smoke grenades, and lightsticks, and in the case of the USAF 24th STS they have access to a deployable satellite and BluFor Transponders. Each faction have several anti-tank troops armed with the FGM-148 Javelin, M3 MAAWS, M136 AT4, and Mk 153 SMAW respectively, and finally each faction have a UAV Operator with the the vanilla UAV. There are also troops with sound suppressors on their primary weapons, ideal for recon and stealth. The troops uses the AN/PVS-31 Night Vision Goggles (vanilla NVGs).
There are a few Arma 3 vanilla vehicles present but named after their real world equivalent, any other vehicles are taken from CUP. Delta Force and the Rangers have access the M1126 ICVs armed with M2s and Mk19s, for Delta the Strykers are used in place of Pandur APCs.
To use with ALiVE use the following class names with ALiVE modules, and pick the Motorized Infantry, Special Forces, and for Rangers and Delta Forces you can also pick the Mechanized categories for ALiVE to draw forces from.
To install US Special Operations Command (CUP) you should use modfolders to keep it seperate from the official game content to prevent issues.
With Arma 3 you can use different ways to set up your modfolders to use custom content you have downloaded.

As of February 1, 2018, Road Runner's Arma 3 mods will cease to be available as his addon making is over, but he allowed anyone who wished to host his mods to do so. I double checked if I could use his mods with my factions and he allowed me to do that, so a big grateful thank you to Road Runner for allowing me to do that.
A gratefull thank you to Mr. H who allowed me to incorporate his MRH Satellite-mod with the faction which gives the player a deployable satellite backpack from where the player can access a satellite controle console. I (GrizzlyBear83) will leave NO support for the mods sans my configuration files as I've not made the mods. There will be some clipping here and there with Road Runner's mods, but I did my best to use vests and helmets that offered little to no clipping. There will be clipping between the Glocks and the holsters on Road Runner's vests.
