Vurtual's M923A1 (M939 Series 5-ton)
This is the M923A1 5-ton cargo truck, with drop sides. Ported from Arma 1, with small bits from Richards.D's DAR_MTVR. Fits the driver and two passengers in the front, and either 14 passengers(2 FFV) or over 15,000kg of cargo in the back.
Comes with seven skin variants: classic arma 1 woodland, a "fresh" woodland paint, green, desert tan, fire/rescue red, arctic white, and fresh woodland paint with OFP-inspired markings.
Uses the same tailgate cargo toggle action as the MTVR, with the cargo cover actions on the box between the cab and bed on the left side.
Can stow its cargo cover, fold down its bed sides, fold down the cab roof, and comes with multiple HAZMAT signs you can switch through, for when you're transporting dangerous cargo.
Has a 5 speed automatic transmission, due to limitations the transfer case is always in the high range, and the front axle is always engaged, for 6x6 driving. Configured with the correct Cummins NHC 250 engine, this is reflected in the handling. It has the single tires in the rear, as opposed to the doubled up tires of the original M923.
Uses a custom fording depth system. Safe depth for fording is 1.98 meters at the engine(about 78 inches, or just below the top of the hood). Submerging the vehicle below this point will damage the engine over time, while submerging the air intake at 2.85 meters depth will kill the engine. You can still repair the engine afterwards.
The model from Arma 1 was originally an odd mix of different M939/M809 variants, and some innaccuracies may still remain.
To install Vurtual's M923A1 (M939 Series 5-ton) you should use modfolders to keep it seperate from the official game content to prevent issues.
With Arma 3 you can use different ways to set up your modfolders to use custom content you have downloaded.

Fixed trucks not fitting in C-130s and similar size transports.
Fixed tire size.
Fixed gauges, mostly. They're still not quite accurate, but they move and don't fly into outer space.
Added spare wheel system(with ACE loaded): an ACE action on the spare wheel lets you unmount it the same as normal wheels in ACE, and it can be used as a replacement spare.
Added a very basic low-detail M936A1 wrecker, for boxloader loading purposes. It does not (yet) have repair functionality. It can be used to load big and heavy cargo into vehicles and the like when boxloader is set to advanced mode.
Fixed msising brakelight textures.
Added basic thermal imaging texture.
Adjusted the woodland and green textures to match the HMMWV better.
Added the light systems from the HMMWV. Blackout driving light, turn signals, etc.
Added a modern-style desert texture.
Small improvements to hitpoints, destruction effects, etc.
Small config fixes.
Remade animation config since the old one was lost.
Now uses my vehicle base.
Added buoyancy geometry, causing drag and loss of speed in water.
Changed engine drowning behavior to not kill the engine when overturned in shallow water.
REMOVED autocenter property to fix water behavior, you will have to realign preplaced vehicles in editor missions.
Fix engine drowning behavior in MP.
Fixed some small visual details on the model.
Added optional support for Boxloader's "drive-on" system.
Added pseudo-realistic fording simulation. Vanilla's misbehaving fatal fording depth value is now 1000m. Instead, a script will damage the engine slowly if you exceed the safe fording depth of the M923 at the engine(1.98 meters), and will completely kill the engine if you submerge the air intake(2.85 meters). You will be able to repair the engine back to full operation, as this only sets the engine damage to full, and does not permanently disable the vehicle, like in vanilla.
Fixed glass visual bug.
Adjusted front glass to fix gaps.
Tweaked green texture.
Added woodland camo pattern to woodland camo truck's tarp.
Added a slightly different version of the woodland camo skin with OFP-style markings.
Fixed the mirrored mirrors.
Fixed engine sounds being in a format only supported by RC/dev branch.
Added license file.
Model improvements and tweaks.
Improved woodland and green camos.
Fix loading area not fitting boxloader vehicle ammo.
Fixed gearbox PhysX.
