It would be nice if you used CUP terrains significantly reducing maps size.
6500 mb........................ the full size of a regular game just for one map (or three or four, maybe five complete mod in A3), no way. Seems to look very good btw.

This terrain file size is due to the huge texture files that go with massive terrains.The objects bis used that were from Arma2 are only a fraction of the total file size.
No way to get around huge terrains and big file sizes i'am afraid.Its the way things are going.

kripto202 ,atm only if someone out there can make huge "pond" pieces like in arma2 and we then can place them thru the editor.Unable to edit the wrp(world file) atm.
I had once come across a pond mod, developed by the same person who made Norway map which has his own custom river and waterfalls i think. But i forgot both mod titles though. The Norway map start with the latter "K"
Also there's a longass tunnel where you can drive across bigass mountain, and that's only unique to that one map.
I think you should check that out if you're in need of ponds, rivers and staffs..

File size is due to the hi-res textures for a terrain at least 10 times the size of regular terrains.As mentioned earlier the objects are only a tiny fraction of the total size.Its the textures.Massive map = massive textures.
The terrain is coded for 3200m above sea level with a downward flowing river.
