A general movement and mobility overhaul for Arma III. Your movement speed is now affected by your loadout weight. Lighter loadouts let you move faster while heavier loadouts make you move slower. It is highly recommended that you use Cobalt ACE for maximum compatibility and realism. Please note that this mod is quite punishing and takes notes from SWAT 4: Elite Force and UT99 Infiltration. Recommended loadout weights are as follows:
0-25lb: Very Lightweight.
46-65lb: Mediumweight. Try to keep most loadouts around here.
66lb-80lb: Heavyweight. Try not to exceed this range.
81lb-100lb: Very Heavyweight. You need drugs or a vehicle to maintain any serious mobility in this range.
101lb and up: Overweight. Look into getting my other mod CRSA.
UMO also contains some new moves, such as a jump, some jukes, and some sideways jumping action too.
To install Ultimate Mobility Overhaul you should use modfolders to keep it seperate from the official game content to prevent issues.
With Arma 3 you can use different ways to set up your modfolders to use custom content you have downloaded.
Please visit the Arma 3 Mod install instructions page for more information about using custom mods and addons in Arma 3.
Tuned stamina drain for super heavy loadouts.
Trimmed out the clunky side-jumps and jukes.
Separated moves into distinct menus - makes things easier.
Added a special "engage exo" bind that lets you really buff up your speed when you have an EPSM Exoskeleton equipped.
Spread out the pacing speeds after taking some user feedback into account. Rush is now more like old sprint, while sprint is now a very expensive, ultra-high-intensity burst of speed.
Fixed default key assignment.
Added another pacing mode, "race", which consumes stamina quickly but gets you some additional speed.
Signed with new keys.
Increased viable loadout weight to 200lb.
Added a backpack dumping bind. Bind it and it'll drop your backpack somewhere in a ~1-meter radius around you. Useful for when you need to drop shit quick.
Added pop-up hints for your movement modes.
Fixed slight speed issue. Now the AIs have full base parity with the player.
Adjusted AI speed bonuses to make them less like glitchy ninjas. Now they're just about par with the player.
Fine tuning done. Your character now has a better-tiered stamina simulation.
Removed difficulty as a factor for your movement speed. Made a few tweaks for the sake of additional realism.
Revised the mod's stamina model in tune with the latest Cobalt ACE update. Now you can use heavier loadouts with relative ease.
Fixed the eden error message reported by GTS.
