This project aims to bring a wide set of hand to hand combat functionalities to Arma 3. The core focus of the mod is to bring functional bayonet attachments to the majority of vanilla weapons and some of the weapons from popular mods. Beyond that goal is additional melee combat functionalities, grappling combat functionalities, and various other hand to hand combat capabilities. Currently this more expansive feature set is still in the works.
Ability to smash windows with bayonet
The bayonets added by this core mod are configured as attachments. The fictional US M12 bayonet for example can be mounted to the side picatinny rail of almost all the vanilla Arma weapons. This mod also supports cases in which bayonets are present on the weapon model itself. This is used for example in the TIOW & Grimdark Armory patch listed below.
The default keybinding to use a bayonet is T. This key can be changed in control options > addon options > Project H2H > Bayonet Stab.
If you are running ACE the bayonet damage system will automatically switch to utilizing the ACE wounding system. Currently this will apply a stab wound to the target and knock them to the ground for a moment.
Natively Compatible Mods
These mods have their own cosmetic bayonets. As such they can be and have been provided native support by Project H2H to make their bayonets functional. If you know of any additional mods with cosmetic bayonets, please report them in the comment section or in the Discord and they will receive native support.

To install Project H2H you should use modfolders to keep it seperate from the official game content to prevent issues.
With Arma 3 you can use different ways to set up your modfolders to use custom content you have downloaded.

These 3rd party mods utilize Project H2H.
- Arganiny's Project H2H SA vz.58 Compat
Part of the intent with this project is to make it as easy as possible for other teams to impliment their own functional bayonets. To do this make your addon dependent on the addon "H2H_Core" and use CBA's preInit event handler to add to the global array H2H_bayoArray with the append or pushBack command. At current time the array only needs to supplied the class name of your bayonet attachment or, in the case of weapons with built on bayonets, the class name of your weapon. Should you need help doing this, feel free to hop on the Discord and drop a message.
