Forward Scan Sonar For Ships

If you've ever used boats in Arma, you probably know how frustrating it is to crash into something you couldn't see, or to ground your ship because you overestimated the depth. Even more frustrating, knowing that real life boats have all kinds of devices to prevent this!

This mod adds a forward scan sonar - a type of sonar which scans area ahead of your ship in a narrow beam, so you can see what's under water right ahead of your vessel. It is modelled after similar real life devices.

To install Forward Scan Sonar For Ships you should use modfolders to keep it seperate from the official game content to prevent issues.
With Arma 3 you can use different ways to set up your modfolders to use custom content you have downloaded.
Please visit the Arma 3 Mod install instructions page for more information about using custom mods and addons in Arma 3.
