Description:
Cold War Rearmed III is a community project to recreate the experience of the great and unique Cold War Crisis and Resistance campaigns from Operation Flashpoint™ (later known as Cold War Assault).
Our main focus is keeping the atmosphere from the original game, while taking advantage of Bohemia Interactive's modern engine and gameplay enhancements.

Once again, you can witness the confrontation between the Soviet Union and the United States spiraling into a shooting war over the Malden islands, a chain of isles in the middle of nowhere...

Welcome to the third return of the legendary Cold War Rearmed modification!


This is a public Beta which contains most of the original units, vehicles and weapons. Something is not 100% perfect, some will be replaced in future updates. Some things are just placeholders and there's also things completely missing.

Included are well known Single and Multiplayer missions, here also a few are still missing because the AI does not do as intented (as usual) or scripts must be converted or revised.
The campaigns will follow, once missing objects for them are found or created. Be patient, this can take a while.

For all missions, the CUP CWC terrains are used. We'll come up with new versions of these ever popular terrains, but that's also far away. Jakerod is good, but he also can't create terrains with pressing a button or two. :-)

Installation:
To install Cold War Rearmed III you should use modfolders to keep it seperate from the official game content to prevent issues.
With Arma 3 you can use different ways to set up your modfolders to use custom content you have downloaded.
