This addon is an explosive charge average power (is lethal into 3-5 meters) intended to kill or
incapacitate the enemy infantry through its placement on sites in traffic expected.
It comes with a demo mission and a tutorial in two languages: Spanish and English.
Place the .pbo file(s) into your ArmA/Addons folder or use a modfolder.
Armaholic.com advices to use a mod folder for custom addons. For an extensive explanation of hot do make/use modfolders please have a look at our FAQ.
You can find it in Empty/RAV-Objets.
It's compatible with SinglePlayer y Multiplayer.
Not only can be placed at the field level but also on higher floors, ceilings, stairwells and any
place they could access the soldier who was assigned the action (see mission example).
The unit can place the trap through the menu of actions. Once in place, can close it off until
the correct action from the menu of actions.
Look especially the way it handled the placement and deactivation the traps using scripts in
the mission-demo, which is attached.
Usage of init_eventhandler (only for "man" class with ranks above soldier):
allow_set_boobytrap = [player, man2, leader23]
1 - Because of the need not to prejudice the performance of the mission, the speed of reading
the trigger has been reduced, having trouble activated when a vehicle passes or drive at high
speed (soldier running), but works well with speeds below the target ( jogging, crawling).
2 - The trap is defined type (object / thing) which makes the AI recognize and avoid, if it exists
in the surrounding map from the start of the game but not when it is created by a unit during
the course of it.
You need someone with expertise in CPP to change the definition and solve this problem.
Obviously in games PvP there is not problems.
