Nice work by BIS. The patch even turned some people around from thinking bad of ARMA2 first into being really happy with it. :)
Lowest graphics in the screens though. Dont know why they often do that.
83% sounds really low - this game is a masterpiece and definitely top5 game ever (with OFP, Mafia, Thief 2 and Deus Ex). The campaign feels dynamic, complex and almost real (with interesting story/setting/world) - you dont just go from point A to B because many tasks live their own life with randomness and time. BIS must have found some really good and creative mission designers for this, who know how to use the full capacity of this excelent game.
It does sound low. Do these guys who reviewed ARMA2 know the essence of ArmA? Dont think they know fully how flexible this game is. And im hearing more and more that the campaign is really good and fun. Cant wait to play it with my friends. Just cant wait.
Why do people think that an 83% is bad? I hate how all these stupid review sites make it so that games that are below 90% are sub-par. 83% is pretty damn good, especially if you consider the fact that the average rating for ArmA was a 74. Seriously, anything above 70% is GOOD.
I agree with SaOk's top5 games, but I would also put Oblivion and GTA4 in there for good measure.
i have to say only one thing: arma 2 runs MUCH better on my system than arma 1 ever did :D
it looks awsome and it runs smooth.
ai is stupid sometimes but after the first patch it works better.
i run everything on highest except fillrate at 100% and normal shadows.
everything else on highest and visibility at 3000.
