Why weed? It's just a modern adaptation of the medieval tradition of hauling rotten cow carcasses over the walls of besieged towns by catapult to cause and spread diseases (and fear of course).
Can you also make a smaller caliber weapon, maybe a bunny-machinegun?

Furthermore, not only do I agree with Brainbug regarding the need for a bunny-machinegun, I also happen to think that a chicken-grenade launcher would be a fine addition.
