I play ArmA.
And don't forget to patch/update your arma to version 1.14.

And don't forget to download Mr.Murrey's Editing Guide.

I think there are still people playing arma,if you have trouble, post it here...
If you don't get any feedback for more than one week, post your problem elsewhere.
(i.e OFPEC,BI Forums,etc)
But keep in mind that ArmAHolic is the place for questions and answers..........

Also use the Search function to find solutions to your problem.
Another way to learn is try a visit to the Mission Editing Newbies FAQ.

Hi Haroon and thanks...
That editing guide is awsome!

I used to plat OFP way back when it first came out, never got into any multiplayer with it as I was always lost in the editor, heck I dont think I even finished the single player missions lol!
I tried playing multi in ARMA1 but unfortunatly before I tried that I had installed tons of add-ons (the wrong way) and alot of them wont allow me to play multi...
I plan on buying ARMA II today so Im going to try and intall addons and what not the right way so I can play online...
hope to see you there!

P.S. if I were to make a mission is it possible to have someone (you:) check it out, maybe add the intro or camera effects?

Once again, thanks alot!

Sorry for me not being able to play Multiplayer.
Connection here is too slow for multi.

Camera scripting is easy once you figured out the basics.
Maybe I'll do it for your missions.

My brother plays ArmA 1. He doesn't like 2. Plus his PC doesn't run it so well.

Hi...im wondering if mp in arma1 is still full of ppl or every one is now playing arma2?

I played it a lot when game came out, but bcz of bugs i stopped, just finished sp and some custom missions, and uninstalled it :(
My Pc isn't good enough for arma2, i played it for some 50 hours but then realized, its unplayable :D

If i have steam version of a game, wil be there a problems with a costum missions etc?

What system are you running? There are lots of threads on here about sorting out performance issues, the one i found to make the most difference for me anyway was downloading and using ultimate defragger, you can set it so it puts arma2 at the outer edge of you re disk.
