I am trying to make my team (2 Captains and 1 squad) enter a Playable UH-60 upon game commencement. How do I make the pilot get out and allow me to take over, and have my team get in. I don't care about the pilot. :)

place an empty helicopter?! :) just place a player in the editor, that gives you a bit more options. place a empty uh-60 and then just load the mission you can hop in the aircraft and fly however u want it. if you want to START in the helicopter just name the helicopter for example "helo1" then add the following into the init line of each unit "this moveincargo helo1", that moves the unit into the cargo area of the helo, if you want to move into the pilot seat make it "this moveindriver helo1" (you can only do that with one unit for each helicopter).

For a whole group you can use: {_x moveInCargo Heli1} forEach Units Group this and mr.murreys guide adds the following options:
With the following orders it’s possible to "beam" a unit to an arbitrary position of a vehicle.
Those syntaxes only need to be defined in the init box of each unit or in external scripts
as well. If those syntaxes are to be defined in the init box of a unit, the variable this can
be used instead of a Name.
NamemoveInDriver Fhz1 - Driver of the vehicle
NamemoveInCargo Fhz1 - Passenger in a vehicle
NamemoveInCommander Fhz1 - Commander of a vehicle
NamemoveInGunner Fhz1 - Gunner of the vehicle
NamemoveInTurret Fhz1 - Gunner of the vehicle (MG)
NamemoveInTurret [Fhz1,1] - Second Gunner of the vehicle (MG)
NamemoveInCargo [Fhz1,3] - Passenger on any cargo position

Another way is to use waypoints just put a waypoint on top of Heli1 and select GET IN > at the place you want to get out place another waypoint and select GET OUT

you will need a marker and a description.exe (for vehicles im unsure how to, haven't needed it really).

I don't quite understand. Where is this description.ext file? Do I have to create it and where do I put it?

For instance, I put a description.ext file in

C:\Users\Drew\Documents\ArmA\missions\Drew%20and%20Carter.Sara

I only have this in the file;

respawn=2;
respawnDelay=10;
respawnVehicle=3;
respawnVehicleDelay=10;

I frag myself and I still don't respawn.

I had to go in and add a respawn_west marker. I got it now

How about this, how do I make 2 separate fire teams so that each of the 2 captains control their own 8 man team? Do I set up a color for each person in that description.ext?

u place 16 guys, then u select group, click and hold one of them and link that guy to the team leader, do that with as many as u want, the person u link them to will be in charge of the people he got linked with.

I have selected groups, select 2 weapons teams, then I can link them to the Captain. I create a second Captain and 2 more teams. That Captain and his team only link to the other Captain. I want to break the Captain to Captain and link the 2 other squads to the second Captain only.
