Hi, I wonder if you can connect a 5770 (with pci-e 2.1) with a P5KPL-VM motherboard (pci-e 1.x). I want to buy that card but do not know if it will be too powerful for my current pc, or whether it will improve enough ArmA2CO in 1440x900.

These are my specs:
Q6600 2.4ghz
4GB DDR2 800 Mhz Ram
SAMSUNG HD321KJ
MB Asus P5KPL-VM
Galaxy 8800GS 384MB (for now)
Windows 7 64 bits

Greetings.

As far as I know PCI-E 2.0 and 2.1 are backwards compatible with 1.x.

Fox Thanks for the reply, but when connecting pci-e (2.1) to pci-e (1.x), does it produce a significant bottleneck?, is it worth buying the 5770 for this motherboard?, and most important of all xD, have I a big difference in ArmA2CO regarding the 8800GS at a resolution of 1440x900?
