Im planning to purchase the DCS a10c sim once my finals are over, but I dont have a joystick. My question is, do i need a fairly good flight system (HOTAS) or would I be able jo enjoy it with for example, a saitek cybrog FLY X. I also have a freetrack device, I know Natural Points is fairly supperior, but so is its price. What do you guys use?

I use a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro. It works fine. I guess if money wasn't a problem and you wanted the ultimate package.....
1. TM Warthog joystick
2. Track IR
3. Foot Paddles (for rudder cotrol)
I beleive there is also a throttle console availiable as well, to compliment the TM Warthog.

Nice to see you don´t need a very expensive joystick! At the end, the most I´m going to do in the sim is the same as in Arma, just flying around enjoying the scenery xD

The Warthog comes with both the throttle and the stick. Add in the Cougar MFCDs to the above and you do indeed have the ultimate package and it's sweet! :) The Warthog totally changes the game for you when you fly the plane as intended instead of having to remember mappings and key combos and what does what. Using all the systems is just easier to a huge degree.

Watch out if you're buying online. Thrustmaster released a TM warthog with only the joystick, so if you see a TM warthog that is only $300, it's probably only the stick. Also remember that the Tm warthog doesnt have a twist stick, so remember to get rudder pedals with the stick (Get Saitek combat rudder pedals!).

Whoops sorry, didn't know the thread was a year old.
