Hello,

I am here by to imform the community that I worked on a DAP BH chopper 6 months ago and it's done since 5 months.
But I don't have much time to work on it anymore, and I still believe it can be better.

It's a basic UH-60 with 38 rockets and 8 Hellfires.

Some screenshot here :

The chopper need ACE because its hellfires are the ACE's one.
The Co-pilot does have a camera with NV and FLIR to lase hellfires.
The pilot command the FFARs rockets.

I retextured it with my "company commercial stuff" (some think it's good, some think it's ugly), but You can retexture it as you want.

You can find here: the fully working PBO file and also the sources of this chopper to improve it.

I don't know if I miss something, I hope I don't.
Ask if needed.

The version 2 I wanted to do :

-Remove almost all seats in the back room and add two gatlings gun (on the backroom not at crew chiefs and door gunner's place) like the ARPIA.
-Re-do the cockpit, I want it more modern.
-Add displays on the back room to make it like a HQ chopper.
-Maybe but not sure if I want it, add a M240 to make a real UH60L DAP. (I think I will do two different choppers)

I am also looking for someone to help me to do all of that, so contact me if you can help.

I would like to thank:

BIS: for ARMA and for their tools
Aduke: for his texture and stuff and awesome choppers
The contractors on USSOCOM's server
The USSOCOM team (http://sfod-delta.com)
And every one I forgot.

ps: sorry for my english, I am French.

Links removed.

That NH90 is not yours (I wonder how you got the source files cause those were never released as far as I know) and so I also wonder about the UH-60L DAP, is it BI's model? If so from where did you get it?

If I am wrong I happily put the links back but we always need to be carefull with this kind of things.

Hello,

I do understand.
The NH-90 is on of arma 1 NH90 I did reskin, and made it working on arma 2 only for me (I tried to contact the modeler, but he never answered to me), and you are right, it's not mine. this is why I did not mention it (if you want me to hide the link I can).

But the BH model, is the BIS model I downloaded from Armaholic.
This only thing I took from another model is the skin from ADuke, I sent him two PM message too and never answered to me too.

Best regards.

Well, the bad thing is, you are spreading the source file of a chopper which is not yours on your website. Now, unless I am wrong the author never released the source file of that particular chopper right?

@foxhound
If you are talking about the NH-90, you are right (and I can fix it in two clics).
But the sources (NH-90) are available for anyone which UNPBO the ARMA 1 file, but not anyone can make it work with Arma2, which is what I have done. So it's not completly the author's sources, it's was the base of my work.

The NH90 was only a test to learn how to "model" a vehicule (because when I did it I did not know BIS samples existed), so I can hide it if you wish.

Let me know want me to do

@babbar12:
it's because you are adding the chopper only.
First, add a men, and then, at side => select "empty" and then put the chopper.

Best regard.

Unless you can provide documentation from the author that states you may edit and redistribute his/her work, then it is prohibited to do so. If the author did not give written permission, it is theft.

I am OK with that.
I cannot prove the author gave me his permission, because he never answered to me.

So I unpublished the two links for the NH-90.

Best regards.

hello,

can I have an answser about what you are waiting from me.
if it's because of the skin (from Aduke) I will remove it from the sources and will look for someone able to reskin my chopper. (I do understand your "position" and I don't want to be considerate like someone who copied the skin).

I know that the Dap chopper is required from some people and I would like to finish it asap.

best regards.

Ah yes sorry, I forgot to reply.
We do not and can not host addons which contains the work of others without having the required permissions (see disclaimer).
I know Aduke is still active but not so much here but is on the BI forums. You could try to contact him there.

Ok, thank you for the answer.
be sure I will try to contact Aduke.

Anyway, it was on my plan to re-texture it from scratch, so if anyone is up to help to make this chopper ready for the community, you can PM me.
Be advise of that I already have removed the Aduke skin from the sources (until the reponse from Aduke) .

Best regards

Hello,

I Deleted everythings which is forbidden (sounds and textures).

I am working on the cockpit (thanks to the gaugepack, available on Armaholic) ATM and I will (I hope with Help) retexture the whole chopper.
So now, the chopper is all "white".

Can you, admins, review your decision?

Here is the link to check :

# Upsilon : I Deleted everythings which is forbidden (sounds and textures).

Good :-)

Can you, admins, review your decision?

Since you are aware of the previous issues and you say above you removed all content which is not yours I do not have to check it at all. I always assume the best from people and take your word for it.

I have no problems with it when you post your progress screens here now that all work is yours or you are using material which you are allowed to use (like the gauges). Just make sure to credit the authors properly for their work you are using!
