Right, I've been playing vanilla ARMA2 and OA for about 8/9 months, so I decided to download a few sound mods to get rid of the tinny vanilla sounds... I've tried a few sound mods, all of them seem to work fine in the editor, but as soon as I connect to a server online, I get a message saying that certain mod files need to be signed, and that I should delete or find the appropriate signatures. I'm using JSRS at the moment - works like a charm in SP (except I get certain errors saying that files are missing - is JSRS for OA/CO? I want to use it with ARMA 2.. is there any way I can do that?).

Thanks guys :)

JSRS is for Arma 2: Combined Operations and nope you can not change that.

If servers enabled the signature check it means they allow only specific addons. If they did not allow JSRS and you try to join that server you will be kicked.
Make sure you also installed the bisign files which come with the JSRS soundmod (should be in the same folder as all other pbo files).
To be able to play in MP while using the JSRS soundmod make sure to join servers which allow its usage or join servers which do not check signatures, but in that last case your game will probably be destroyed by little kids with to much time and lack of education.

Thanks Foxhound, I was not aware of that :)

I am kinda new to this whole modding thing. Is VopSound known to work with vanilla servers?

Thanks again :)

Any server which enabled signature check will only allow specific addons. To know which addons are allowed on that particular server visit their website or check the server description.
Same goes for VopSound or any other community made addon, if servers do not add the key (to allow the usage of that specific addon on their server) you can not join the server with that addon active.
