{sorry for the duplicate post - also in ARMA 2 Troubleshooting - first post!} Hiya ~ First Post! For a while now, I am assuming it was one of the Six-Updater updates which initiated the bug, I have been unable to scroll to (for instance - 'nades). I can access a menu for charges, but the action key does not place them. To clarify; 'nades do not appear in my 'F' selector, and satchel charges, while appearing on my mouse-scroll selector, will not initiate when selecting and action key - left mouse or enter. I'm not sure where to look to fix the problem, and would really appreciate any pointers. Cheers! Foxsch

Hey Foxsch - is this ACE2 you are running?
Check the ACE2 thread for possible answers, but it sounds like your userconfig needs updating
check you ACE2 folder readme for info on how to do that.
Action keys are set in ACE2 options in-game.
If this is an ACE2 related problem that is? if so wrong forum section.

....that's all folks....!

Heya Paly ~ : -) - thx for the pointer but no I'm not running ACE2 as yet, but I am using the clippi if that helps? I've checked through all that I know using that - reset the advanced options - and nothing seems to restore the key options to initiate the satchels or select 'nades etc ...

If you are not using ACE*, why are you or would you be using the aceclippi tool?
____
Disable all mods or run the game through the default shortcut and test.
or
Options>Controls>>Default>>OK

I am using ACE - I have the @ACE mod loaded ~ Maybe I'm behind with understanding that @ACE and @ACE2 are different mods..? I use the clippi as instructed, to regulate my in-game ACE options. I'm a little reluctant to disable the mods for a number of reasons; the game is in Steam, so I'd be faced with a reset of my SP campaigns, I'd need to revise my Six Updater presets (which for a hard working web admin like me, would represent hours of pc grind which I cannot afford), and also, I need ACE : -( ARMA2 wouldn't be the same without ACE.
Am I in the wrong thread? I would support an argument that this IS an ACE issue ...

# Foxsch : Am I in the wrong thread?

Correct, all ACE questions belong in the ACE thread (when we refer to ACE we mean ACE2 as we are in the ArmA 2 / Operation Arrowhead forum). You need to use self interaction and interaction keys to place satchel charges etc. And iirc ctrl + f to switch to grenades. F is only used as a fire selector in ACE2.

Just repost your question in the thread which Viper linked. This is indeed the wrong place.
