hello, the trigger doesnt' work. i tried two "missions"

(man should run, after the right man is in the trigger zone)

(after im in the zone, the ai should run to next waypint)


why does this not work? Please help me, I despair. The tutorials have helped me not.

I had a look but my german is very rusty :-P Also it is hard to read those screens (at least for me).. can you type out what you are trying to achieve?

I think there are a couple of problems with the first one.

Move the running mans waypoint next to where you want him to wait, then place another WP on the other side of the trigger where you want him to move to.

keep the Synch on the first waypoint and the trigger grouped to the other man as you have it now.

In the trigger change it from none to switch.


For testing remove the delays 0,0,0 or you may have a long wait.

i fount this out: i must connect the tripper with the first waypoint, i chosen the second one (pic2).

Then the soldier runs WHEN im in the trigger zone... i didnt knew this... But thanks for your support :)

When you synch a trigger with a waypoint the waypoint won't be considered "complete" until the trigger is set off. So for your first example the guy will run to the waypoint then wait for the trigger to go off (the right man entering the zone) THEN consider the waypoint cleared. If you wanted him to stay until the trigger goes off move the waypoint next to him and add another one where you want him to do.

Same for the second example.

You'd also want to set these triggers to Type = Switch.

Yeah this took me a while (and numerous errors) to figure out :-D
